Please add a @mention functionality to checklist and comments section in Planner
When I am adding checklist or comments on Planner Tasks then I want to be able to mention a specific employee who the task, or item in checklist is assigned. This way I want the person to be notified.
That's THE reason why my team is still using Trello vs Planner.
Such a pity it doesn't already exist in Planner

The "mention" functionality is great. However, any assigned persons should always get a notification email when a comment is added. But, nobody ever needs a notification email when they comment on a task themselves.

Shocked this isn't already a part of Planner. Likely going to move my entire team over to Trello, a much better planning App.

This would be a very beneficial feature. It's hard to believe it isn't already available. I've seen users asking for this for a few years now. Development, please roll this feature out!

This would make much sense! We tried to move from JIRA to MS Planner, but missing this feature might lead us back to JIRA...?!
