Remove 1500 Tasks Created Per User Limit
Remove the limit of a single user only being able to create 1500 tasks. When using an API to create tasks this will quickly be exceeded. There should be no limit.

We are facing issues for 2 of users, so far the users are now facing issues with MS Teams planner,
Not able to create new task. -

So everytime my work flows in power automate hit this limit, we have to create a new user and delete the old one that was being used for the connection, this is absurd, why is this not done yet!!!!!!!!!

Same to al the below... It is ridiculousness that we cannot go above this limit.

Using PowerAutomate to create tasks for people and I've quickly run into this limit.... effectively 'breaking' our process and rendering Planner useless.

Please remove these limits or atleast it should have been communicated earlier.
Its such a good product and when we are excited to use and using it, we are being hammered by this bad news of limitation. -

The limitation is death for the use of the product. We are currently converting a complete invoice check workflow to the Planner. That means we would have had a shutdown in a few weeks

This is a major issue for our company as well. With a large crew of salespeople and multiple production facilities to communicate with we will quickly hit the 1500 task limit.

Remove the limits! It's useless for our organization's purposes.

This is an absolute killer making planuer useless for my organization. We are trying to run an internal workflow through planner and I'd reach this limit in weeks.

It it was not for the 1500 limit and 250 active tasks limit we could make this an entire workflow for my department. Because of these limits we can't use it at all. This combined with Flows and Forms would make this an outstanding program.

looking forward to any update on the plans for expanding/removing the Planner limits? we have close to 2000 task to create in a year for the planner.. & by one user. we need a scalable solution!

we have also hit the limit with our dashboard solution, the only option is to create a new service account to add tasks, but this is so clumsy

Love planner - but this and other limitations make it virtually unusable in my large org. We can not invest in using a tool that has these absurd low limits. What the heck would you do when you hit the limit? Stop using planner forever? That makes no sense at all. Please remove this limit,

This limit will keep us from adopting planner to support processes that have more than 5 people and where the unit of work is completed many times per day.
Please increase or provide a work around (e.g. limit constraint to single plan)

We were hoping to adopt Planner however, with this limitation we won't be able to - we have many thousands of historical tasks we were hoping to import in order to get started, and won't be able to work at all if we do that.

I would guess this would now be in the tens of thousands, based on our organisational account usage. But I have now hit the "MaximumTasksCreatedByUser" wall anyway, and cannot find a shred of documentation of the current limit for my account. Please respond!

We also use a service account to create tasks monthly for our accounting dept. Approximately 200 tasks are created each month. Need to remove this limit as other departments also use this service account to create separate Planner tasks.

Could you give us the current limits, as well as plans for near future?

This is incredibly shortsighted. Remove these limitations. Our company is large and we have a few admins. Without the ability to create (in the long term) infinite tasks, this product is DOA.

Please note these limits are not static and the number quoted here is not current. The product group review the limits periodically and increase based on usage and performance improvements.
