Permissions Capability
Would like for Owner's in a Team, Group or Plan to be able to change user's/member's permissions within Planner so they can:
1) Contribute
2) Edit
3) Read-Only
4) No Access

C'est vraiment important dans une compagnie si on veut l'utiliser pleinement

Came across this tool while considering migrating from G Suite to O365 for our small organization. Looks quite promising compare to what we are doing today, but as other mentioned, the lack of permission settings is a non-starter. Really hope MS is stepping up their game here for what should be a basic enterprise feature!

As many others have said, this tool borders between useless and outstanding on permissions alone.

This has the potential to be an awesome tool - ONCE YOU HAVE THE PERMISSIONS FIGURED OUT. As it currently sits, this is a very very very hobbled service offering with limited potential.

we need this control function badly.. how could we allow so many users to have the capability of editing/deleting our tasks (accidentally)... on the other hand, they need to access to view the latest task status

And a permutation of the above might be something like "My Tasks Only"

I wonder how many votes Microsoft needs to add this feature. This question was asked in 2017...

Being able to set permissions is a critical component if Planner is to be fully implemented in our company. Is there a plan for adding permissions management capability to Planner? Planner has so much potential, this is the only component keeping us from fully implementing it.

I'm managing a small group of 12 people and someone clicking randomly on the cards change the status messing up all the stats. Really frustrating I cannot set the read only rights for them.
Is this a too difficult feature to implement to Microsoft? C'MON !

Permissions capability is mandatory to roll out planner is my team! Do you have a estimate for implementation?
Many thanks -

Need to ensure team members do not delete tasks

I cannot believe how this feature is still not applied. I cannot roll out Planner as a collab tool in my organization until this is implemented.

Correct this is a missing feature which should be solved. Until this is done I'm forces to use other 3rd party planner tools like Trello as the functionality provided by Microsoft is very basic, even below today's business standards. The permission settings should be on the level of the Documents folder and every planner-tab, as you can create more, should have the ability to define other permissions.
