Permissions Capability
Would like for Owner's in a Team, Group or Plan to be able to change user's/member's permissions within Planner so they can:
1) Contribute
2) Edit
3) Read-Only
4) No Access

Yes please - in addition to the above it would be great to have:
- Read only - even if you have a task action allocated to you - then only specific people can update
- Read only but can update notes section of a task allocated to you - but not close/delete task -

Hello members of Planner app of Microsoft. Great app. As a head of a project it is not desirable that every member of the project can remove/delete any task action or buckets any time regarding their limited roles. So please dear members of Planners bring some changes in the roles so that the members are not able to or delete these tasks/buckets. Thanks in advanced.

As a program manager I must have the ability assign team member privileges according to their roles in the project/plan. I had planned to pitch MS Planner as a workflow solution for my organization. But how can I endorse a system where any assigned team member can inadvertently delete a task for my entire organization with no backup?
This application is not usable in its current format. Is anyone from Microsoft working this issue?

As a CIO, the lack of Planner's permission capability is a significant deterrent for enterprise adoption for what otherwise is a great tool.

This is mandatory in an enterprise to be able to delegate a planning in Read only mode without the risk that someone delete all your work without anyway to restore task ......

If you assign a task to a team member, the team member can actually delete the task and there is no track of that either!

seems like no resource allocated to the project.

Almost 3 years later and still no sign of such features... Such a shame, we have erm... Senior users who seem to have difficulties with how stuff works on the computer. Trying to use this as a tracking tool for tasks of a dozen team members on about 10 different projects at different stages. Seems like an important task could just be erased and no one would've heard of it.

Without these permission capabillities MS Planner is useless within our organisation.
But with these it would be the perfect solution for managing people on their job. -
Remi commented
All 4 permission capabilities should be built into MS Planner.

I agree. I really need the ability to prevent a task that was assigned from being deleted or checked as completed without an owner closing the task.
