Add a List view option?
I am currently an Asana user. Do you have any plans to add a "List" view option in MS Planner? My team and I currently work in the "List" view of Asana. We tried the "Bucket / Board" view and did not like it. We would consider using MS Planner if you offered a "List" view to work from in your application.
Do you have any plans to add a "List" view option in MS Planner?

Totally agree on this need.

Would really enjoy a list / grid view inside a plan and allow me to choose and filter on columns.
I find myself continually going back to Excel for plan management for the flexibility it offers. It would be nice if some of the basic things were already Planner.
i agree! any updates??? thanks

Same thing as so many here - love Asana's list view, and would switch to Planner if it were there.
Agreed - I need to look at a list of items quickly to determine what my next focus should be. I've often used Excel, each workbook as a Team, each sheet as a bucket. I can quickly scan what I need to work on next, often dead lines / priorities change each day/week. Using planner makes me feel less in control and often more lost as I try to scroll through everything to figure out how a new request might fit into my day/week/month and what's it priority should be.
100000x This. All of Microsoft's test case projects must've been SO small that this wouldn't be an option. Love Teams except for this!
Agreed - no list view is preventing us from full switching to planner from asana
Agreed - We also use Asana, and the card-style task organization becomes too cumbersome and unmanagable for users who are following a large amount of projects or tasks.
Ditto....Must have for working with larger task lists. Also it is often necessary to export a list to excel to send to outside parties, etc.
Would use Planner if they incorporated a list view or something similar to an excel view. I can't stand the Kanban style of task management. It is so cumbersome.
Only reason I don't use Microsoft Planner is the list view. When you have a long list of To Do, it is hard to view or sort the items by priority, assignee or date due. We would use this over Asana and other task management tools if the functionality existed. Please move up on the roadmap.
I agree. Please add a List view option!

Ditto! the current bucket view is limiting. Consider the views available in outlook and other task list tools.
A list view would be great. I love how planner integrates automatically in our Office 365 account but I'm going to go back to Asana because of the list view. Once your task list grows it gets very confusing.
Agreed - I currently use Asana, and really would prefer to use a task tracker that is fully integrated with the rest of my Office 365 suite, however anytime your list grows, the list becomes visually un manageable.
This would be incredibly useful. It's exceptionally distracting to sift through a boards when you have a large number of tasks.
While the visual of boards is helpful, it would be incredible helpful to have a backup view, much like Asana's, with a simple list and indentations for subtasks.
Same here, lists get confusing quite soon as items grow

I would love to get this option and also be able to customize what colums to display
