Dashboard, template plan with template tasks and completed checklists.
I wish to save a plan as a template with template tasks that can be individually attributed and assigned to individuals. The template tasks should contain a completed checklist.
These plans are under a main page with summaries and dashboards for all the plans below.

Need ability to have templates for different types of projects. It can then standardize the plan and status reporting across the organization. The template should have parts that cannot be changed, parts that are to be mandatorily filled, and parts that are optional.

Planner is USELESS.... Can't even create checklist templates. The one thing that is important in planning is having templates of checklists so that you could add 2 or 3 different checklists to a single job or task.
Currently I have to type in a 15 step checklist manually every single time i want to re-use it. Very FRUSTRATING. I google search and people have been asking for this for over 3 years.
It's why i won't leave Trello... as bad as i want to now that Teams has a nice communication and office integration.

This would be extremely beneficial to my organization as we have several routine tasks that need to be repeated precisely and in order for success.
Being able to recreate the plan in a few clicks as opposed to retyping the entire plan (consisting of three tasks with 10+ checklist items each) would be a huge time saver.
It would be especially helpful to the less tech-savvy users in our organization so that I could create the templates and the other users would be able to open and assign from there. -

I really love the simplicity and setup of planner. Adding a Template so a Team can reuse the same processes for quality control purposes is crucial. This seems to be the last big function needed to make Planner a complete project management solution.

As some already mentioned its needed to be useful for organisations, its currently something I miss a lot when doing planing tasks for my group members in projects etc.

Agreed. I've spent some time trying to make a Flow solution for this and not getting very far, but bottom line for us are two scenarios:
1. Create a Planner board for a new project that has the same couple dozen tasks as a starting point. This should be a pretty simple template and I would think would be useful enough to others to make it a general feature.
2. Create a Planner board by importing an Excel file that was used for the quote. Maybe not useful enough to everybody to justify this, but I'm mentioning anyway.

I also would like to have template function so that I can save time to create cards for repeatable preset works.
