iOS Push Notifications
Add notifications when changes are made, comments added, Status change, etc
Thanks for all the feedback! We’ve just launched push notifications in our latest app update. Users should now see a push notification when a task is assigned to them. You can learn more about this feature here: https://support.office.com/article/get-notifications-about-your-tasks-and-plans-cce223d6-b0ae-43cf-a080-266e2414a859
We’re looking to add more notification types in future updates, so let us know in the comments if there are specific types of notifications you’d like to see!
The Planner Team

TherIn addition to push notifications, I think Planner should have a Notification Center or Activity Center in Planner that lists all changes you need to know about. For those of us that don't want additional email, we can click into the Notification Center and see everything that has been updated and take quick action on each item.

I also am not receiving any push notifications.
I have been testing for a few days, and have made sure all notification settings are on, and I cannot get any of my mobile devices to receive push notifications from Planner. Testing on iPad and iPhones, latest version of iOS and Planner.

Please add daily summary push notification for overdue tasks
Receive notifications about tasks if i'm an admin of the plan (when tasks are not assign to me) when: task is:
7 days late
Due in 7 days

A want to have the option of notifying only those assigned to a task when comments are posted. It creates entirely too much noise when a task is assigned to 2 members of a 10 person team and they are commenting on each task. Right now, all 10 members assigned to the plan are notified vs just the two assigned to the task/card. The result is people don’t use commenting (because it’s noisy) and the card lacks a history of what happened.
People who is invited in a board (not admin) and create a task, the app most send notificación to the admin.
Bump for the due dates and reminder notifications.

Any update on when the email alerts are coming?
Due dates, reminders. I suppose it would be best to have everything go into the group calendar, thereby adding it to the individual user's calendar as an appointment, with a reminder.
Most of us live out of Outlook, still.
I would like alerts I manage as well as reminders! The buckets and lists get so big that many get lost and I'd like to periodically bring them to the forefront of my mind. Also the ability to add it in a calendar view - next steps/due dates, etc.

all three -- but most importantly #1 tasks assigned to you. but the other two are needed as well - any changes to any task assigned to you shoould notify you

The once you have mentioned (1-3) plus alert when a task is due and late. Thank you!
To add notifications when tasks are due and when they are late
When a task is due to start and when it's going to be late
I need to let my team know (automatic notification) when I made a change to the card

Hi - Notifications of changes in due date would be very helpful!
Currently, due dates can be changed without even a comment with who did it and when. This does not allow for visibility and tracking of the progress against when it was due. We see this as a major downfall for our company and it the reason why we haven't adopted Planner.
