Integrate Planner with Microsoft To-Do
Please make it possible for tasks created in Planner to sync with Microsoft To-Do, so it is accessible across Outlook, To-Do and Planner.

Hello!
We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.
Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.
Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485
Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!
Cheers,
The Planner Team

Please add a connection between MS Planner and MS To Do; having this streamlines the apps and saves the end user time!!

Critical connection point in practical terms and key integration point for adoption of either/both tools. Since I can see my notifications from planner show up in my inbox and easily add it to my task/to-do list, it seems like it's a close connection...?

Synchronization between Planner-created Tasks and tasks in Outlook seems like a straight-forward integration, and would enable more effective collaboration and task management. Hoping this arrives soon...

I'd love to right click, flag (Follow Up) with weeks/dates, and add to Planner. I'm using categories today like I'd like to use buckets and share with my manager and others. I use scrum board headers for Planner buckets and treat it like other scrum status in JIRA.

This is definitively a must-have feature. It is not useful at all, if I need to keep to tools up synchronized manually. Could you give an estimation, when you plan to have this feature ready or why you you are not planning to realize it?

This is mission critical to our implementation of Planner. Is there an ETA on when this will be available?

We all know it's in the works. Just tell us when you are planning to release it. It's probably showing up as a task in your own Planner instance...

One way to integrate Planner into Microsoft To-Do is to have plans populate into Microsoft To-Do like a list. For example, a plan in Planner called "XYZ Plan" would show up in Microsoft To-Do as a "list" with the title "XYZ Plan" and then within this "list" would be all the tasks under "XYZ Plan" that are assigned to the Microsoft To-Do user. This would also let the sub-tasks in Planner populate into Microsoft To-Do.
How you aggregate "Plans" and "Lists" in Microsoft To-Do is up to the smart Microsoft engineers. Essentially, you refunction lists to auto-populate all of the tasks in a Planner plan. This would also let you add new tasks to the plan from within Microsoft To-Do.

1. The ability to link a task first created in Microsoft To-Do to an exisiting plan in Planner would be a nice feature. It seems like the ability to see an assigned task from Planner in Microsoft To-Do is available but not the other way around. The To-Do --> Planner integration would make organizing tasks easier.
2. It would also be nice if lists in Microsoft To-Do corresponded with plans in Planner.
Thanks!

Just make it possible to sync Tasks assigned to me in Planner appearing in To-Do (and Outlook as well).

Simply an option to send them from one to the other, even export-import if needed.
