Integrate Planner with Microsoft To-Do
Please make it possible for tasks created in Planner to sync with Microsoft To-Do, so it is accessible across Outlook, To-Do and Planner.

Hello!
We’ve just released our integration with To-Do as a first step towards a larger task coherence initiative.
Today, you can view and edit Planner tasks you’ve been assigned in To-Do’s new Assigned to me list. This is available on to-do.office.com and To-Do’s Windows, Android, and iOS apps.
Here are more details on this integration: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Planner-Blog/Planner-and-To-Do-integration-bringing-you-a-more-cohesive-task/ba-p/553485
Our work in this area is not done, and we’re relying on you to help us decide what’s next, please keep the suggestions coming!
Cheers,
The Planner Team

I fully agree with Zoltan Abonyi: it is almost perfect, but there is only one thing missing from my point of view: the ability to organize/move the tasks from the "Assigned to me" list into other lists inside To-Do.
Could you please implement this? Thank you very much. -

I can also agree with a comment below, a huge gap for me right now is the ability to organize/move the tasks from the "Assigned to me" into other lists inside ToDo. Either if they will still stay in the "Assigned to me", I would like to categorize them into separate other lists and show them there as well. In this way I could have a nice solution for my personal duties both having a Planner and a ToDo list well integrated behind the scenes.

Can you allow tasks created in ToDo to be pulled into Planner?
Personally, I get a lot of my tasks from emails, which I use a quick step to flag for follow up, file to an associated folder and create a task. I'd like to be able to add a step to this that sorts that task into a task list of my choosing since Outlook task list and ToDo task list already inter-operate.
Ideally this task list would be linked with a Plan, of my choosing, in Planner that would populate these new ToDos to the default ToDo list in the Plan and I can sort them to the right board from there. Maybe each Plan creates a base ToDo list that is linked between Outlook, ToDo and Planner. Since the Outlook and ToDo integration is already there, hopefully the last step to integrate ToDo and Planner could be a simple and quick win!

This is not fully integrated yet. Tasks created in Planner show up in To-Do, but need this to be 2-way ie you can't create a Planner task direct from Outlook or To-Do.

Add task to My Day from within Planner
Often I will think of something that I need to get done and when I'm being disciplined, I will get it written down in Planner before getting on with it. From within the Planner app, it would be handy if I could 'push' tasks to My Day in To-Do. This would avoid having to add to Planner AND add to My Day.

The option to switch this on does not appear in the connections area in ToDo.
Please fix! -

Would be great if you can group/filter Planner tasks in To Do by Plan, Status & Priority.

Dear Team,
May you please confirm, how can I DISINTEGRATE PLANNER and TO DO APP?
I don't wanna see my PLANNER TASK list in TO DO.
Thanks,
Pawan

There is a gap in searching. The plan doesn't show up as searchable, which doesn't allow you scan for all tasks in a Plan since they're sequentially added by creation date.

This is great intgration. The closer to having all tasks in one place the better!
I do see a big gap though in the current integration. I can't drag the tasks assigned to me to any of my lists. Having a large list of tasks based on creation date is only slightly helpful. I need to be able to organize it since there's overlap on created lists. I hope this wouldn't be overly difficult to do since it seems that all of the "Assigned to Me" tasks are tagged with the name of the Plan the tasks are part of and shouldn't cause an issue on the update.
Per the details on the integation page: "There are a few features not yet supported when working with Planner tasks in To-Do. These include creating a Planner task from within To-Do, adding and editing assignees or attachments, creating a recurring task, and using drag-and-drop to reorder tasks within a list or to reorder steps within a task."
I hope the future "drag-and-drop" update allows not only reordering of tasks in the "Assigned to Me" list but also in other lists.

i don't have the option to connect to planner in my to-do. it is an organisation account and others have connected within the same company. I have tried on my Ipad, web, phone with no luck.

This feature is already live, at least for me it is. So much more useful than before! You will need to enable it in the settings.

I am SO excited about this. Currently having separate tasks in two areas is making Planner much less effective.
