Include time tracking/time sheets per task
It is very useful to track expected time to be spent per task versus real time spent.

Does anyone know if the time feature in any form is planned to be added to Planner?
Without is it, Planner is not so helpful in resourse planning, and just by adding expected time for a task will suddenly make Planner a very useful planning tool. -

In addition to tracking HH:MM spent on specific Tasks in Planner, a simple Report feature (please include export in both PDF and Excel) showing the calculation of total hours spent. Include flexible time spans Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly.

Each task, bucket and the entire project needs to have estimated and actual time spent.

Please include time tracking so we can better analyse where we are spending our resources

Litterally the only reason we are giving money to Click Up is because Planner has no time tracking.
Add this one feature to planner and many people could move off of those other "Project Tracking" platforms. -

I use our task planner now to also determine the time it takes to complete so that I can plan accordingly - this would be a game changer for me using Planner.....

It would be very useful to have the task times link into your calendar.

I was using Portable Kanban before, you might want to have a look at how the developer integrated time tracking and reporting. https://dmitryivanov.net/

Where I work, time stamping is critical in determining how much time is spent on work tasks. So I agree, an estimate is important as well as time stamping per task to be pull the aggregate to report Task and Overall project Target vs Actual Time.

Was checking the planner and i think its very appealing, although i am still using the calendar vs excel, is there any way we can keep a track of time spend per task on the plan and get a report from it?
