Integrate with Teams
It would be great if you could integrate this with team. its better from internal projects than Yammer. this would be a team members on a plan would have a corresponding teams channel and both would share the same sharepoint group/folder

I would really like to have the option for email notifications switched to be Teams messages.

Agreed. Simply adding the "Planner Hub" and "My Tasks" views to the main menu in Teams would really close a big gap in the flow of things.
Right now I'm manually adding each plan into each team individually, but having these overview pages would be great. It would really help enforce the "one place to start your day" concept.

Voted! The fact that this isn't how it happens and has inspired many YouTube videos showing the disconnect is weird to me. It seems like Microsoft has 10 or 15 teams all doing similar stuff using the same platform but aren't even playing in the same sandbox. If all these tools would work together as intuitively as you would expect you would be rock stars. Outlooks tasks/calendar/email+Wunderlist to improve on tasking (why you bought it right?)+Planner w/ Gantt/basic Project Planning abilities+Skype 4 Business+Teams to wrap it all up in a nice simple package.
