Allow Microsoft Teams to select/attach an Existing Microsoft Plan
We've been using Microsoft Planner for a while and are just starting to look at Microsoft Teams. We were trying to attach a Plan to a channel but realized Teams only wants to create a new Plan everytime. That isn't logical.
We should also be able to attach more than one Plan to an existing Channel.
please work with us as we need more functions while planning work from home and office.
Fully agreed !!
It's really necessary !!!
Please introduce this feature!

If Planner is to become a useful tool at all, it needs to have more flexibility. So far, I cannot see a way to create a plan in the Planner Hub, and then use the plan within an existing team that is already setup. It appears to me that those that created this application did not put a lot of thought into how this is actually used. My company uses Microsoft Project, (but not Project Online, or Project Professional), so unfortunately, I am stuck with the lame Planner application to be collaborative. Most of my project plans are 300-400 lines long, and creating a plan from scratch each time is not practical, and honestly, is a complete waste of my time. Please, if Microsoft plans on this being a strategic part of the Teams applications, work on improving this application before rolling it out to the general public. Right now, it is nothing more than a fancy task list, it has lots of potential, but is not ready for prime time.
It will be good when in Teams i can attach plan which was created in planner.
For now in theory it is possible but teams won't see any plan which was created in planner first.

We need this ability with plans based on different groups from the Team. The ability to attach a plan from the same group is available but those that have pre-existing plans from various groups is not. This will be critical for our adoption of both teams and planner

This is currently available. When you create a Team you have the option to upgrade an existing O365 group; however, you can only have one plan per team, rather than per channel.
