Created plan in Teams App does not show up in Planner App
We have the issue, that created plans for channels within a team does not show up in the Planner App. This is just ****.
However, assigned task in these "hidden" plans are showing up in the Planner App. I woul say, its a bug and not a feature.
I think I got the reason.
Planner is not using the Teams "channel" or "Teams" groups. When I copy a plan to make a "new plan", it creates a new Outlook group with the name of the "new plan", making this new "new plan" invisible in Teams. So Planner should be a part of Outlook, and obviously Teams is not a part of Outlook.
Same thing with Sharepoint and Onedrive, they aren't the same system. Some files shared in Teams will be in Sharepoint, while the others are in onedrive
OMG things are getting more complicated...
So I guess there won't be any solution until MS migrate everything to onedrive, if this is in their roadmap.
I hate to waste a morning typing up 100 cards in the planner, to confirm the plan cannot be made a template to my work!
same issue.. 3 years later?
same issue now.. I am a guest in the tenant, task created in planner tab in teams group is not visible in the tasks.office.com interface

Over a year later, and still the same issue. Still not even a response from developers? What's going on?
Same problem. This isn't helping me sell Teams and Planner to our company!
Same problem. If I open the web version of Planner from Teams and then select Charts I can see the tasks I created via Teams but as soon as I select the Planner Hub all of the tasks disappear even though the "plans" are listed and visible (just nothing in them!).
I can't believe this has only affected such a small group of users. There must be an actual fix that we haven't come across!!
I have the same problem too. This sucks

Feel ridiculous having to "vote" for this as it is clearly a bug. I have the same issue - created a Plan in Teams and it is not available in Planner. The only way to get to the Planner view is to use the jump button from the plan's tab it my Team site.
I can access my plan via the mobile Teams app but just the limited Teams view. Would be much better accessing via the mobile Planner app.

This is an old thread, but i'm pretty sure this is the issue i'm running into. Is there any update on this?
Found this fix.
It's like in all MSO365 you have to follow it.
Just open up the Planner webpage, chose to follow that planner you would like to follow, on the three dots chose follow.
Now it will show up on your android/iOS phone.
1. Open planner webpage.
2. Selekt the planner you like to follow. Ex. Developer Planner under 'All Plans' Under 'Planner hubb'
3. Open device, and now you will see, planer sites created by you and the once you are following under 'Planer Hub' on you android device or iOS.

Have exactly the same issue, and we are just starting to roll this out wider within the business. This needs to be fixed as a matter of urgency.
I have this exact issue as well. If I create a plan in Planner itself, all good. Create it in Teams, I can't access the plan from the mobile app, although I can see the tasks assigned to me.
Similary, it does not show in my Planner Hub, although I can get to it in the browser using the jump button in the Teams client. Basically - it's not very consistent.
When I create a channel under a team, it only shows up in TEAMS, not in "Planner" online. No channels under any team show up in Planner.
some plans are showing up but one is still not visible in de planner App
Finally someone with the same problem as us. PLEASE fix this!
Still no fix?
For me, this issue is still existing. Please fix it.
