Add auditing to the tasks so that there's an audit trail of all changes made and who made the change
Add auditing to the tasks so that there's an audit trail of all changes made and who made the change. This would help show exactly who made what changes and when (time/date stamp on each audit entry) so that you can clearly understand the history of the task and who was involved and when.

Without this feature planner can't be used in a professional environment, at least in my opinion.
Please add an audit to the planer so that the administrator can find and restore deleted tasks.

Record movement of tasks from one bucket to another, adding lists or attachments, changes to details, etc.
Very important feature .... really missing it
Absolutely needed. Would be extremely useful to see "all modified, in order, since = date"., all created in order, since the date. This is basic functionality....
This is a fundamental task, every manager who assign task want to know fot modification. Unusable until that.

Please add this as it would greatly help adoption of planner by our tenant. Any word on when this is coming?
I notice this feature request seems to occur in several different locations as slightly different questions so there's more than 91 votes for this. A Flow to write edits into a SharePoint list would be great.:
unusable without this and the ability to add custom fields... need to stick with Jira

Yes, that's really important for business application, especially when you need to restore some accidentally deleted data from description field, for example.

This is currently a blocker for me to use the app, it's impossible to share a planner with tasks if there is no tracking/audit shown when a task has been moved between different buckets, file added or checkboxes marked/unmarked/deleted. This must be fixed!
Without recordabilities, makes a supposed book of changes into a book of chaos. Perhaps we are witnessing a flaw in Machine-Logic? Perhaps simply upgrade SharePoint App to feel like Planner, so we can stay with the usual SP Audit ways?
I can't believe it has been released without this feature.
This is a must! I need to be able to see the full history of all attribute changes

- Status changes (in progress, completed)
- Resource changes
- Start/Due date changes
- Bucket moves
Yes this is extremely important to see who has changed task info, also if a task is moved from one bucket to another, there should be a time stamp and by who, this is avalible on trello

Essential feature for business planner. There have to be a way to resolve upcoming issues, and issues like "somebody accidently deleted something" or "checked unnecessary checkbox" happens every day.

Have changes monitor all audit in the timestamps on each task:
• When and who changed the due date
• When 'progress' field what updated
• When a checklist item was marked as complete.
