I want a "Convert to Task Planner" button for emails
Most of our tasks come in via email, a simple button to convert it to a planner task would be imperative, otherwise it renders the planner a little bit pointless for us.

As an update, our colleagues in To-Do have delivered the ability to create tasks directly from Outlook.com!
To-Do has rolled out the Tasks Pane for Outlook.com’s Mail & Calendar, and is also the new Tasks for Outlook.com! With Planner’s & To-Do’s integration, we hope that To-Do will become a central hub for all of your personal tasks, and that switching to Planner to collaborate with others is seamless!

I want to drag and drop like I can in outlook for an email to either Calendar or Task. Otherwise, I have to copy/paste to use it...

http://www.apps4.pro/planner-outlook-integration.aspx figured out how to do this. I can't get approval to spend more money for every user in our environment. Please give us a solution that works without having to buy third party products.

I guess you can sort of do that using Flow, by flagging and E-mail and then let Flow create the task in Planner

This would make the planner really integrated into outlook - tasks are a bit outdated now we have the planner functionality to organise our to-do lists

Need it for a better integration of office 365.
There's a way to do that, sending to a Trello board and using Flow to import from Trello to Planner. To complex and need a different pathway for each board. -

Using iPlanner Pro and Add-in to Outlook you will be able to create a task based on an email. You will have the same options directly from your mail as you have from the online Planner. Actually you will have more options. This is hugely why we've been using Trello. The email to board function is a must for us to consider moving over to Planner.

You can already forward an e-mail to the e-mail address for the board, turning it into a card, same as Trello.

Email inkl. attachment convert to a Planner task!
creat a folder for the attachments on sharepoint. folder name should be a short form of the task name. task name will be the email subject.

It would also be nice to somehow integrate outlook tasks into planner, almost as a personal planner of sorts, so that when you go to your tasks view in planner you see all tasks, not just collaborative group ones.
