Full Plan and Task Management RESTful (or like) API.
Some calls might do the following:
Get Buckets From Plan
Get Tasks From Bucket
Add User to Plan
Add Bucket to Plan
Add Task to Bucket
Assign Task to User
This could open up so many possibilities. I would use it to create tasks for users (like tickets) and all the notification and time tracking would be handled by the Planner Application.

My company use another product for task management because we can integrate our data via API's and render it in reporting tools like Power BI. This would allow us to switch to Planner.

We can do some of this via Office Graph of course, but lots is still missing. Update is missing from the list above, incidentally, but another thing that struck me today is that I can't do much on Create or Update than just setting Title. I'd very much appreciate being able to do via the API what I can do in the UI e.g. at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Get-email-about-your-tasks-and-plans-cce223d6-b0ae-43cf-a080-266e2414a859#taskactivitynotifications. An example I need right now is to turn on/off the email notifications about task assignments

Does graph API suffice this?

This might already be in development... I just found graph.microsoft.io
