View All Tasks Assigned To a Single Person
Currently tasks can be viewed by Assigned To only within a particular Project. It would be helpful to search globally in Planner by Assigned To rather than having to review assignments Plan by Plan. This change would make evaluation of workloads much easier.

Thanks for sharing your feedback.
We would like to hear more about how you would utilize this view. If you have a particular scenario or set of teammates for which you’d like to view tasks for, please share below!
Cheers,
The Planner Team

Can see my own tasks but for managers need to see tasks assigned to people and performance tracking (how many late, how many ongoing, etc.)

We migrated from Wunderlist and I thought that this feature was already implemented. Please, add it soon. It would be a great way to display workloads! Thx!

Same feedback here. As a manager, I need to be able to see all the tasks across all the plans, otherwise it becomes very difficult to know when someone is overloaded.

I agree this is a must - management of workloads requires balancing across multiple plans, which means visibility on a single dashboard.

Really need this. Otherwise Planner is just another personal productivity tool.

I am trying to make Planner work with my staff and came across this problem when managing staff work loads who are members of other plans. In the end we are double accounting by creating 'lead' tasks in one planner to notify of other tasks in another plan. Manager's are really going to struggle in using Planner without this issue being addressed.

This is really a must. This is the only missing function that comparing to my homemade tool in excel to have a good overview of all my tasks. I hope to have this function soon.

I was just evaluating Planner today and lack of this feature is a show-stopper. I need the ability to view all tasks by members across all plans. Specifically, two views would be great. 1) A summary 'chart' view page, grouped by plan, then user, then tasks. This is exactly like the chart view at a plan level, except it provides details on multiple (selected) plans. 2) Another multiple plan view is similar to the chart view but grouped by member, then by plan. That way you can see total number of tasked assigned to each user, the summary of the status, and the list of the plans and projects. Thanks.

Definitely! I manage 5 people who get assigned across multiple plans and I need a way to see how the tasks are spread out through the team

It's vital when managing several projects with the same team.

Agree - the 'planner hub' should have a mini dashboard for each plan summarising progress and outstanding tasks.

I thought this feature already existed! What are those dashboard views for then?

Totally on board with this suggestion. Being able to designate who my team/department members are and having a dashboard view like the hub to see all the workloads would be immensely helpful. I initially thought groups would solve this - until I understood how groups works with planner.

I completely agree that a consolidated view is essential to managing resource loading and prioritization across multiple projects.

Yes!!! Without a manager view, we are unable to use Planner.

Absolutely agree. I have multiple employees working on multiple plans at once. As a manager this is how I would arrange priorities for an individual by sequentially listing their tasks in order of priorities. This is in lieu of an "official" method of assigning priorities for each task as others have requested.

Our company is considering use of MS planner, and this is a must-have feature. We need a project lead to view the total workload of our employees, not just within the scope of a single project.

Would be very helpful.

Make a total view by resources (vertical) and dates (horizontal); per resource and date place the task/project - like a planboard
