View All Tasks Assigned To a Single Person
Currently tasks can be viewed by Assigned To only within a particular Project. It would be helpful to search globally in Planner by Assigned To rather than having to review assignments Plan by Plan. This change would make evaluation of workloads much easier.
Thanks for sharing your feedback.
We would like to hear more about how you would utilize this view. If you have a particular scenario or set of teammates for which you’d like to view tasks for, please share below!
The Planner Team
Is there any progress with adding this feature???

if i have a team working on different projects and i am managing many different projects accross many different people it would be nice to be able to select a person on my team and just view their tasks as we can with my tasks.
Much better for 121 meetings and individual coaching.
I totally agree. We can have 6 or 7 live projects (Teams) at once and seeing the tasks assigned to one person across all the teams so that we can be sure they are not overloaded would be really useful. This functionality is available in Jira, and we miss this now we have moved over to planner in teams

I have the same need. I am an estate lawyer with a paralegal. Using Matter 365, I create a group for each matter. I have about 40 open right now. That will probably grow to 50. I assign my paralegal the task of drafting documents after each matter/group is created. I need to be able to see how many uncompleted tasks she has and which ones are behind without having to open each of the 40 to 50 matters.
I have various projects for my team that are each scheduled with planner. I would like a consolidated view so I can see if I've got tasks and schedules conflicting with one another.
This would be an extremely important feature. I'm surprised it doesn't exist. We have a clunky workaround where each team member prints out a screenshot of their current tasks and puts it on the boss's desk.
Please notify me when this feature is added to Teams. Thanks
He. We have many teams working on different planners. We need a way to produce a high level roll-up report/dashboard for our leaderhsip team. This exec dashboard would use data from all the individual Planner boards. Is this feature going to be developed and released by Microsoft anytime soon?

Project Managers need to see if people/resources are evenly loaded across Teams and Plans. Seeing everything that Person A is working on (across teams and plans) would be very useful when planning resource utilization. This is just one of many Cross Team and Cross Plan reports/charts/roll-ups that would be useful. Thank you.
Do you read all the comments? I think it speaks for itself that in order to be a collboration tool. You need to be able to see other peoples tasks as a project manager.
Would it be possible for the Planner Hub to have charts (similar to each individual Plan's charts) to display everyone's tasks? The layout's already there, there just needs to be a Planner Charts that takes all the tasks from each plan and combines them in one space.

This really is a blocker for us in our evaluation of O365.
The use case is simple. I manage different teams, that often share the same team members.
I want an overview of the tasks of a specific member in different plans.
A view similar to "my tasks", but where the user can be specified. to allow for data to be protected, you could add a few options:
1:Only allow ability to see "user tasks" for users in a Plan or Group with you.
2: In Plan settings, add option show tasks detail, task count only, or hide all in "user tasks" view. Default to "task count only"
Keep same filters and group-by options as "my tasks"
These will account for projects with sensitive data

With team members having tasks that span multiple plans, the need is to have a roll up of all member tasks in a single view. This would allow for easier resource scheduling for project managers.

I THINK THIS PROBLEM IS RESOLVED BY CLICKING ON 'MY TASKS' IF YOU'RE JUST WANTING TO LOOK AT YOUR TO-DOs ACROSS MULTIPLE PLANNERS.
Adding to this that we are rolling out Planner to our entire account team, who manage over 300 projects a year. We need an intuitive and easy to use tool that 1. gives the PMs useful tools and 2. is simple enough for support teams to use and complete - Planner meets those needs. However, we also need to see all projects aggregated for resource management. This is going to be a deal breaker in the near future. Once all our teams are onboarded and project templates are ready, we'll need the aggregate tool. We hope that is Q2/Q3 2020!

We're now moving to use different product to support our requirements that we have had hope MS Planner can and would, as we (customers/end-users) requested/voted for a while now.
Keep pushing all, maybe one day.
Can we please have an update on this issue. >500 comments seems like its in demand. How has this not been implemented yet????
This function should be implemented as soon as possible. This is crucial for team work.
Hi Microsoft - This is a critical function team. I am in agreement. For an organisation to have a global view of all tasks across all "projects/team channels projects". Means an organisation can manage priority one tasks across every team channel to re-assign resources dynamically. Helps address the issue of "tasks all over the place and getting missed". There will be an issue of "bucket names varying across Projects" so maybe deliver a global view based on a common task elements in release one, i.e. "assigned/unassigned/due date/priority/project name/labels 1 thru. 5".

I agree with Laurent, I was just googling how to do this but I'm quite frustrated we cannot see tasks by person. I would like to see all tasks for a person that are outstanding regardless of plan; while also being able to see the information by plan.
