Permissions levels that block users to delete or conclude tasks
Any user can conclude, delete, alter due date and do other modifications on any task. Only the task's owner and the group owner should be able to do that.

Yes! You Should be able to do all that!

Anyone can delete the tasks assigned to them, that should only be done by the administrator or the person who assigned the task.
You should not allow to leave without the person in charge of the task, if someone does not accept the task, you must put assign it.

This feature is essential for corporate users.
The ability everyone to delete a task (on purpose or accidentally) and to do it without notifying the owner is madness!Microsoft please!

4 years later and still no permission management in planner. It's like a supercar with 3 wheels :/

Micro$oft. You are kidding yourselves if you think we will roll Planner out across our Organisation without the ability to lock-down who can delete tasks. And importantly that there MUST be a permanent log to allow the legals to pull the data back out if required.

On a basic level, it's the only thing missing. It's VITAL for it's use.

We want to be able to share the admin role too- and for everyone to view all tasks, edit their own.

Please upvote! This is such a critical part of a pull plan. Think Monday.com or TouchPlan.

The planner is completely useless to management without permissions. Please implement

Permission levels would be really useful. Assigned people should only be able to state that they have completed a task (or not) and not to edit the task itself.

Please implement this

When this will be available? It's been years!

This should definitely be higher up on the list. It renders planner completely useless when anyone can delete or mark the task as completed. This can easily happen on accident when using the app on the phone.

I do not believe that Microsoft has not added this feature

People click to complete tasks, but not always the task is completed 100%. Thsi is even more complicated, when a tasks is shared between users, one user click as completed, but this is just their part!
At least, the creator does not get a notification.

This problem makes planner completely useless!

Even a permission (check box on user, member) assigned by the creator, that would disable any deleting of any kind (no tasks, no comments, no buckets, no plans, or no files deletion). The phone app is way to easy to accidently delete things too. Without a proper recycle bin or undelete it is way to difficult to keep reliable information or use it as a historical reference.
