Permissions levels that block users to delete or conclude tasks
Any user can conclude, delete, alter due date and do other modifications on any task. Only the task's owner and the group owner should be able to do that.

Yes please. Enable permissions/roles to be able to limit this kind of things

This would be a very beneficial feature for our organization where we want to use this for our IT department as a Roadmap.
Our goal is to collaborate with upper management while still allowing read-only access to other departments so they can see the status or projected start date of a project for their department.
Our alternative is to use a tool such as Aha.io, but we prefer to stay within the Microsoft Suite if possible.
Thank you for all of your work you have clearly put in to the product.
This final feature would be the icing on the cake.

I still believe that asynchronous communications (this feedback forum) is an oxymoron but can someone from Microsoft (WITH AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY IN THE PLANNER BUSINESS UNIT) respond to this gap? Just need to find out if this fix is coming soon or you've got other priorities. Please respond asap.

there needs to be more permission levels on planner - view only, finish task only, etc. would make this more useful!

I discovered this issue today when somebody was able to complete a task that what assigned to me. So what is the point to have a task leader if anyone from the group can manage them as they like !

What the ****??? Users can delete my tasks??? ONLY OWNERS SHOULD BE ABLE TO DELETE!!! This is a total showstopper.

Still dumbfounded that we need to vote for this capability. Everyone in the organization can't have admin-like authority. We should not have to ask for RBAC in SaaS in any collaborative enterprise-grade business environment.
Here's a scary question - do current MS Planner admins/users know about this 'feature'?
