Upload images takes too much time. What about a simple copy and paste of an image? This really limits Planner. Now I have to resort to other communications outside of planner. . .now I have multiple threads where Planner should have everything in one place. Really Lame! Fix it!

For software development (and many other kinds of projects), the ability to quickly drop in screen shots to show issues is essential. Please bring this capability that is included in all the other major project tools. Planner does so many things well, but this is a hard requirement for our Team.

If we could get a more robust notes/comments section in the planner similar to the chat function where we can add images and bold, underline, italicize etc... that would be amazing... for now I have been sending images to my staff in Chat because even under the attachment you have to put a link... kinda of a pain. So i instant message image and then add a planner task but would be better if i could keep the image with the task without the hassle of having to create a link...

I never thought I'd be on a MS thread. But we're a startup trying to use planner instead of Trello and this feature is crucial.
How have you waited 2 years and this feature still does not exist?
If not a direct copy paste at least give me the option to upload an image (not just through sharepoint ! ) -

Wow - I just realized that the ONLINE app does indeed offer the ability to attach a file from my system but my macOS APP DOES NOT!
It wouldn't be a problem if the app would not try to be or look feature complete but it literally looks the same. Just the dropdown is missing the one option. I mean - wtf? Usability does not seem to be on any prio list these days :-(

I left Microsoft Planner for Jira for this reason (plus a few others). Please add this feature.

How can this not be a feature in a planner task? Way easier to understand information in a task with a simple pic of what you are trying to explain to someone.

This is a really essential feature. It helps to add context to a task and keep task information centralized. Please make an MVP. Pasting from clipboard makes it much more efficient. Thanks!

Paste picture to a task, giving the planner app better overview, and faster workflow. As others have mentioned, picture should be added by simply pasting the picture, when a task is being edited..

How many votes needed before developing?
This is a fundamental function when deciding to use planner. But with no users, there will be less votes and sadly no development.
Please, fix this!
