Improve Task Attachment & Link workflow
Open a Task
Click on Attach
Click on Browse OneDrive
The window that appears has no options for browsing my own OneDrive for Business folders or for browsing SharePoint Sites.
Improvement: Allow for browsing OneDrive and SharePoint folders to find relevant documents.
Click on Link
The window that appears has no option for browsing OneDrive or SharePoint Sites.
Improvement: similarly, allow for browsing SharePoint Sites or OneDrive folders in order to link to an existing file. The link should be about creating a shortcut to an existing file, so that updates made to that file are also visible via this path.
Linking to sharepoint sites would be very helpful.
This is very important. Hope to see it implemented

Agree! I wanted to link a task to a network folder location (necessary for this project) and the Link was auto-preceeded with http:// thus would not link to my folder.

It would also be nice to be able to attach files shared with the planner group

I agree. The Upload a File and Attach from OneDrive workflows are in need of major improvement.
- It is not made clear where files are uploaded to, and no option is given before upload of where the file should go. If the user wants to attach a file to a task, and that same file name has been used before, there is no way accomplish this from within Planner. The user must navigate to the group's OneDrive and rename the existing file, or manage folders, then navigate back to the task is Planner to re-upload the file.
- OneDrive folders that are shared with the group cannot be browsed from Planner's "Attach from OneDrive" feature. This would be a huge improvement and would help alleviate the previous issue's impact.
- A bug: The upload file feature commonly fails to open the file browser window in Edge (and perhaps other browsers). The only fix I've found is the refresh the page.
