Allow Tasks to be moved between Plans/Boards.
Currently you can only move Tasks to different Buckets within a Plan/Board. It would be very useful to be able to also copy or move them to different Plans/Boards that you are a member of.
Thank you for your feedback! We’ve improved the ‘Copy task’ dialogue so you can chose a different plan to send a copy of a task to! We’ll be exploring and expanding the ways in which you and your team can organize work in Planner, and hope this will be a helpful step forward.
Here’s an article to learn more about this feature: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=872349

This is a good idea...for example I would copy tasks from the many different plans I am a member of and then put them in my "Personal Plan", and re-prioritise, re-bucket, change due dates, etc., etc.

+1 on all of this. No copy functionality make serious consideration of usage very difficult.

The ability to create copy of a bucket is a must have. As Michael Turl pointed out earlier, we also have multiple projects following the same list of tasks.

I would greatly appreciate this feature. As others have said, as projects and tasks evolve - so do those involved. An example would be for "handing off" a project to another team once all of your team's tasks are completed.

I also require being able to copy and move a task from one plan to another. Adding this feature would greatly improve the usability of Planner.

The ability to copy tasks from one bucket to another bucket is a must have. Currently, unless I have missed something, we only have the ability to move a task between buckets Also, it would be great to copy a bucket in its entirety. That would allow us to create a template bucket that could contain all the tasks related to something like 'typical project set-up'. We could then copy the template every time a new project was started.

I'm in the same boat. Can you please add this feature to Planner?

Would be good to be able to have the tasks linked so that status changes in one plan reflect in the other plan. This could be as simple as assigning the task to a plan, once the ability to have multiple assignees comes in.

This is a key feature because tasks tend to evolve across different teams. So we would want one team to work on the initial phase and then pass it to another team, to work on phase 2

I would appreciate this feature
Would be keen to see this feature added as plans / tasks are implemented so do plans evolve.
This would allow management of tasks across plans rather than having to recreate them.
Yes add this feature

Copy or move tasks from one Plan to another.
As it is now, Planner is unusable for our team because it doesn't have the ability to duplicate plans. We have a lot of projects that follows the exact same process. With the ability to Duplicate Plans or create a "Plan Template" this would save a lot of time over having to redo everything over and over again

Second that. Even links between plans (se the discussion about relationsships) would be good.
Seems like copying a task from one plan to another would be appropriate. If you could then complete or delete the task from the original project after you've copied the task, that would seem to be sufficient. This goes along with requests to export plans and create plans from templates. If you could export a plan and then import it (or parts of it) into a new plan, would that serve your needs?
Matt Holmes commented
Currently a user can create a plan with multiple buckets and multiple tasks per bucket.
This request would allow a task (or a whole bucket) to be moved from one plan to another.
You can currently move a task to another bucket within the same plan but we need to ability to move or copy a task to a bucket that is in a different plan.
