Allow Tasks to be moved between Plans/Boards.
Currently you can only move Tasks to different Buckets within a Plan/Board. It would be very useful to be able to also copy or move them to different Plans/Boards that you are a member of.

Really need to be able to copy and move buckets and cards from one plans to another, and missing this possibility is a serious problem. Also as I have plans on several contexts, e.g. project management for a single project vs. unit's internal follow-up accross several projects, it would be very useful to be able to actually share buckets between plans, to avoid double-maintenance of task status.

I couldn't agree more. From a UI point of view, all it would take is a drop-down for "Plan" within the task along with "Bucket" and so on, plus a check-box for "Make a copy"...

PLEASE add this piece of BASIC expected functionality. So many of us operate in environments where tasks are repeated in different phases/buckets

+1. Yes, this needs to be added. I was surprised that the functionality of copy/paste or drag and drop from one plan to another was not supported. I tried this almost immediately after first beginning to use Planner. It looks promising, but please add some development juice to this app.

I ran into the same issues, so I installed a 3rd party app to sync to outlook, Apps4.pro. Then you can export all your tasks to excel, then you can bulk change the plan and bucket they go to, then reimport. Not the ideal method, some things may not import, such as attachments, but if you have a lot of tasks you want to move, it will at least help. The app is free for 14 days, or $25 for a one time fee.

I've been using Planner for about 3 hours now and already would like this feature. It's essential to be able to move or copy tasks between buckets and other plans, as well as being able to move or copy buckets between plans.

Definitely need this functionality. Do not have the staff to document the same tasks, multiple times (we use Project today, and copy paste works there. Seems a fundamental gap.
