Indicator to tell if a member is Subscribed to a plan
I have some members of plans who clearly are annoyed with the email volume from Planner and have Unsubscribed from the plan. I've encouraged key project team members to stay Subscribed and just deal with the volume of email, but one or two of the key folks I want to be Subscribed clearly are not.
It would be handy to have some sort of indicator for each user that shows if a user is Subscribed or Unsubscribed, so that I could make note of folks who are not paying attention and ask them to Subscribe to the plan. I see no indicator for this now.

I agree, but the bigger problem is this tool generates too much unwanted email. I don't see the need for email generation at all but can't turn any of it off.
If an organization embraces Planner as a tool they should be monitoring their tasking in the tool, not by waiting for an email message. People who are managing the project should be doing likewise and certainly shouldn't be getting an email everytime anyone completes a task.
I wouldn't even consider using this for a real project until Microsoft lets me turn off the emails or preferably make the default no emails
