How can we make Planner better?

Add new progress descriptions

The progress descriptions are too simple. You should be able to create new ones, like planning, design, testing etc.

    Nobody does agree with the needed status but we DO need new status OR at minimum, instead of REVIEW, the possibility to highlight a task recently updated (instead, we're using OUTLOOK for sending a message to the associated Teams channel address for this stuff)..

    Take a look at how YouTrack does it, for a really good reference. We use YouTrack for client software development and the ability to define custom status is golden.

    This would be an awesome feature! I ran into this today, where I would like to indicate that the task is waiting on an end user. Icons should also be selectable / customizeable.

    There should be a way (possibly in settings ) to add the progress options desired. It should be more configurable.

    Make progress options editable per plan, the current limitation leads to re-implementation of a workflow through use of buckets or labels - making Planner as a tool less intuitive for our larger organization. Trying to move from Version1 to achieve a greater transparency and co-operation within the company (where everyone is present at the O365 platform) - but this progress state limitation is really a weak point introducing pain for several stakeholders.

    We need customizable Progress. And also the others need to be customizable. Bucket and Priority!!!!
    Also make it so completed doesn't automatically get crossed out and hidden. We have made an archive planner so we can move completed tasks there. But they are all hidden!! So we need to figure out to do with our completed tasks so we don't just have to delete them.

    Need a Dropped and Postponed progress status as well. But better would be user defined

    I could badly use a "On Hold" setting but agree with everyone that the real feature request is that these can be customized.

    Or just add a "Review" progress. That is the most simple fix if it needs to be standard on all planners (judging by the way Planner works).

    My kingdom for "Review" progress.
