Hyperlinks in Comments
Typing a URL in a comment does not render the URL as a hyperlink when the comment is saved. It would be much more user-friendly to render these as hyperlinks.

Being able to hyperlink (ctrl+k) in description and comments fields would be most welcome.

Planner has to be seriously upgraded especially on the business level solutions.
Comments should able to be edited (from the person who made the comment), can be deleted (from the person who made the comment), have the hyperlinks active and have the ability to at least have some basic formatting (bold, italics etc..)

This suggestion is from 2016 and Microsoft did not even care to implement it ? I'm really afraid that our experience with microsoft 365 is not going to be as we expected, these are crucial and common sense to have a feature, sorry, a fundamentality in a project management tool in the late 2000s
What's is really wrong with you guys at MS not seeing the need of such a thing?

Annoying restriction, particularly given that the ability to add a link as an attachment is nerfed to require an HTTPS:// prefix.
We have the need for other handlers, and a standard hyperlink in the comment would allow this.
I feel like you guys have a team working behind the scenes to make all of these tools problematic to use in a corporate environment.

Absolutely needed! I'm shocked how few votes the hyperlinks suggestions are getting. I think it's vital to have links, @ mentions, and # tag be active.

We would urgently Need These Hyperlinks at work, as we use it for Staffing and enter the application link of the candidate.

This is needed. Along with @ mentioning other users in comments.

Why do we need to upload a link like it's something unusual?
how about a pin comment and just allow links in the comments? -

I find this particularly problematic because you're able to enter it as a hyperlink behind text, but once saved, only the text displays, so you've lost the url.
So I really support this.

It would be very nice that we could add links in the comments. Also it would be nice to have the possibility of attaching OneNote links, now is not working...

Links in the attachment is reasonably easy to use, and I like the way it shows up on a card. That being said, ability to add links in description and (especially) comments would be very useful. Voted on this.

IMHO this very useful and misssing feature, also with @user_name - Trello has these both + linking another task.

I never thought that "Attachment" would include a hyperlink. That's not intuitive at all. I had expected it to be like Yammer, where the link is just recognized, or Trello, where I can specify [link](text). I added a "vote" to this.

I want to just paste links - adding links as attachments is too slow!

Thanks Dave! That works beautifully!

I found placing the link under the "Attachments" section worked well.

Adding the hyperlink in Outlook 2016 breaks the whole card! It won't display any more in Planner.
