Please add "Search" Task in order to find a task quickly

Thanks for the feedback on the Filter menu and cross-plan search functionality!
Next we’d like to pursue widening the Filter metadata to include other fields like assignee, description, and checklists. We’re also working with a search team in Office to align with UX and functionality across Office 365.
This work hasn’t been scheduled yet, but we will update this thread as soon as it is.
Please continue to share details on the filter and search functionality you’d like to see in Planner!
Thanks,
The Planner Team

Agreed, inability to search across all plans (say for tasks assigned to a specific individual) is so important. Please implement...

Agreed, search would be fantastic. I think there should be two searches: 1) to search across all Plans and 2) search within active / currently viewing Plan.

cant believe there is no search - I rely heavily on the search in Trello for quickly finding cards in the backlog list

Search would help us determine task history much faster

For those that have more than 100 active "Plans" (projects), scrolling down the list that is not in Alphabetic order is a challenge - sort in alphabetic order and add search functionality.

It would be great if the search capability: (a) searched across all Plans, (b) allowed 1 or more criteria (e.g. Status not equal Completed, Assigned To = John Doe), (c) allowed saving searches for future use

Definitely need search. As the number of tasks (completed and archive) grows it's becoming harder to find items!

Add an option to search for tasks by keyword in either title or description of a task.
