Date format
The date format is fixed to mm/dd/yyyy, could this please be selectable based on your region - for example we use dd/mm/yyyy
Thanks

As an update, since we’ve still been seeing issues around date formatting, so we’re pursuing another fix that should help: If you’re using Planner within Teams, we will default to using the same language/local as Teams.
If you’re seeing this issue persist outside of Teams and your language/locale is set properly for your Office account, please let us know in the comments below!
Thanks,
The Planner Team

In Teams it's fine, but still, in the planner I'm looking at a task for today, (5 June), which shows as 6 May!
It's bad enough having to use American English. -

This is a serious weakness in the software, even changing to a long format for the month would be better than the current situation.

Nice to see in 4 years MS haven't recognised there are users outside of the US using different date formats..

I prefer yyyy-MM-dd
I am able to set my computer to follow this format, why can't the browser just follow the system setting? At least the browser version shows a calendar for the date picker, vs the iOS app which is a tachometer for date/month/year that doesn't show the day of the week.

The date still shows in US format despite my Office and Teams settings being my own country.

This seems to still be happening for Planner inside of a Group. For Planners in Teams this works now.

Please make UK standard date format an option. Thanks

There's an international standard for dates. If you can't make it work user adapted, at least start all development based on the ISO and then add the user adaptation. This is so annoying. Was early customer of O365 in Sweden when the concept was originally launched and have put up with half developed products being launched because the total concept works well for me but am currently evaluating moving the company over to scroogle or any other vendor...

I still have the problem. In my profile, the Local is set to Always use my personal settings in French (Belgium) but when i go to the Planner web app and add a task, the date is still showed as MM/dd instead of dd/MM.

We have offices in US and UK, this is a real pain when we can have per-user settings for our 365 accounts and massively confusing.

Surely an easy User Story to implement with massive benefit. Prioritise please. I am reverting back to MS Project to get the project planned.

All my Planner plans have suddenly reverted back to US date format. If this continues it will not be feasible to use in the UK as it confuses everyone. It will be a shame to stop using this app as it is a very useful tool apart from the date glitch which I thought had been resolved.

god, 4 years on and we still have this problem. It doesn't matter what you do Teams if you are using planer in a standalone web browser. Very poor design!
We should be able to select the date format we feel like or then follow the same behaviour as when running planner inside Teams.
Our customers get really confused with this date format!

The date displays in accordance with Region Settings in MS Teams.
It displays US format in the Planner App on the web and in Sharepoint Group Team Site when adding the Planner App. -

I'm seeing this a lot
https://Tasks.office.com takes me to the en-US URLI'd like to get the en-AU URL instead.
I've opened a specific user voice item on fixing that: https://planner.uservoice.com/forums/330525-microsoft-planner-feedback-forum/suggestions/39920344-fix-tasks-office-com-always-taking-me-to-the-en-us

Can the Planner Team advise if this will be fixed soon?

WOW! So much feedback this needs to be fixed for over 4 years! I have correct display as tab in teams, however in the Planner web-app (and in email notifications) it shows as US date when everything I have is set to AU date format.
Even planner settings itself: https://snipboard.io/MuBZ0Q.jpg
Please fix urgently.
