Date format
The date format is fixed to mm/dd/yyyy, could this please be selectable based on your region - for example we use dd/mm/yyyy
Thanks

As an update, since we’ve still been seeing issues around date formatting, so we’re pursuing another fix that should help: If you’re using Planner within Teams, we will default to using the same language/local as Teams.
If you’re seeing this issue persist outside of Teams and your language/locale is set properly for your Office account, please let us know in the comments below!
Thanks,
The Planner Team

Please can this be resolved, its incredibly confusing from a UK perspective when using Planner within your browser as a board. Planner loses its USP when having to use it via Teams, you may as well just use Microsoft To Do.

Please have multiple formats, we use the ISO YYYY-MM-DD format.

So if you're using Planner within Teams, how do you export to Excel to have the dates in AU format?

We are using TEAMS and date is displaying correctly (DDMMYYYY) when viewing Planner via TEAMS. Going direct to Project this is still showing MMDDYYYY (grrrrrrr) We are now 2021 is there still NO FIX to this?

MS Teams > 'Tasks by Planner and To Do' shows the date format as US, but the Teams Approvals app and other Teams features correctly shows date format according to my regional settings.
I can't apply regional (English New Zealand) date format to Planner. I can't believe it has been more than 5 years and still Microsoft hasn't fixed this.

Is this seriously STILL in development almost 5 years after first requested?

Mine is displaying the date in australian dd/mm/yyyy format, but interprets dates entered as US format. eg if I type in 01/03/2021 it comes up as 03/10/2021 Very confusing. Also the late tasks emails come in US date format.

We (20 users) use the web version and all have the issue with date format shown in US instead of Australian date format, even after applying the right setting in Regional format field.

Still same issue in WEB version. It doesn't help to change the regional format in Office profile.

There needs to be an option to change this within Planner (web).

Every single setting on my computer is telling it to use ENG AUS which is DD/MM/YYYY yet it still defaults to ****** US. :(

This really needs to be fixed ASAP. We cannot work in MMDDYYYY, it's backwards and I keep getting dates mixed up. That is a critical failure of a product intended to help you not miss date of important events.
It has to display in DDMMYYYY for the rest of the world outside the US.

I'm in Australia and want to use DD/MM/YY date format (or other variations but in the same sequence). It is very frustrating to have to constantly think (for example) - Am I seeing the 8th of January or the 1st of August?. All my date formats are set to English(Australia) or other non-US formats, yet US date format persists.
I would also prefer to have the week start on Monday, not Sunday.

All languages/region settings set to English (UK) (Office account, Windows login, MS Edge (Chromium)) but I still occasionally get the en-us page.
I find that the app switcher on O365 pages seems to be the culprit for me, sometimes the link for the Planner app contains en-us...
Also when creating new tasks it uses the US calendar format (Sunday as first day of week), this always happens regardless of anything else. -

I've set my Office account Region Format to UK, but Planner on browser (Firefox) still shows the US format.

I'm using Planner via Firefox. Firefox regional settings are set to Australia, my Planner settings are set to UK. But I'm still seeing the US format. Please help! :o)
