Include Task Priority

Hello All! The priority feature is complete! Priority is rolled out to production across the Web and Teams. It’s also available in the mobile app an in the beta endpoint for the MS graph API. We’ve also updated the charts view to include a priority chart .
Please give it a try and let us know what you think! If there’s something you’d like us to improve upon, please find and vote on that suggestion or create a new one so we can prioritize accordingly.

This would be a huge help. I currently have around 8 plans open, soon to be much more. Being able to view and sort on priority is a must. I'd like a maybe 1 = highest 5 = lowest priority.

Agree with this. Task prioritization, even just a simple Low-Medium-High, will be a great help. Looking forward to this functionality.

Totally agree with Jim's comment below.
Need priority to be customizable
Like idea of each priority level having different color.

Add priorities per task. priorities cab be divided for several steps like P1 , P2, P3, P4
sort/filter view by priority is required too.

Yes, this is something that we absolutely need, otherwise we can focus on non priorities things.

We prefer those selections below that call for priority to be customizable and really like the suggestions that each priority level be given a color. The ability to select to sort 'Assigned To,' 'Bucket,' and 'Status' groupings by Priority, and by Due Date by Priority. If multiple sort options are too much, please sort by Due Date by Priority.

Priority definitely needs to be added to a task. multiple tasks end on the same date but I need one done before the other.

Adding priority would be great. Could you also please include the ability to create your own priority standards and sort Planner Tasks by Priority

Yes, priority tracking please. Our company just enabled Planner in Office 365. I am trying to move some manual, Excel-based work tracking processes over to Planner. The one element I am struggling to convert is the assignment and management of priorities.

Add priorities to tasks and be able to view them in priority order.

This is badly needed. Maybe even just green and red dots on the job cards (low prior and high prior).

Agree with the comments below - especially Jacob H - this needs more traction. Vote Vote Vote.
To be able to sort tasks by their priority will be extremely helpful - similar to the Trello functionality if I'm honest in assigning a priority (number) to the card. Means moving cards between boards and across months in schedules will be a lot easier and reduce so much administrative burden.

Agreed. Using tags at the moment but really need to be able to sort and group by priority as another dimension. Colour coded tiles based on priority would be cool.

This feature definitely needs to included along with a sort feature.

This needs more traction. There are general tasks that must be completed before other tasks. The only way to do this currently is to make them embedded checklists or use the tabs. Tabs cannot be sorted by and they must be reset every time a new task is created. Due dates can work but sometimes you have an overall completion date and priority tells people where to start.
