How can we make Planner better?

Set default views

Can we have the ability to setup default views? Would be nice to have the team to access the plan and go to a predefined view that is easier to consume. I have a project with multiple members and its hard to track each ones actions for them when the access the tools and it goes straight to board view. Can we have the ability to have them go to the charts view with predefined filters? That would help make it visual as chart is a dynamic dashboard that makes it easier to track each peoples tasks.

    Yes I would like this too. The default view is group by buckets but most of the time I group by due date and filter by me, so I can see my upcoming tasks that are soon due.

    I recently started using Teams and was optimistic about planner. disappointed to learn that MS has prioritized changing the name of the tool and adding custom wallpaper to boards over basic functionality like default views and custom fields.

    Very important - all other competitors have it. Default view and saving filter options is essential!

    Not having this possibility to set default view and systematically having to change it each time we access to it is generating a lot of frustration for the user who will stop using it. It is a shame that this kind of feature cannot be quickly developed.

    Why has such an essential feature not been implemented since 2016?

    I have to set my Planner-View-Setting again and agian every day.

    Also no response from Microsoft?

    Being able to set default view or recall last view is a huge omission. The flexibility and personalization that it provides is a basic, basic, basic functionality that has been adopted by, oh, every single other GUI I have ever used. Please get on this one, it really is a no-brainer. This, for me, is the achilles heel of this otherwise very useful planner.

    Every single time I go to planner, which is several times a day, I have to change the view.

    What makes this worse, because planned does not support pop-out mode, when you switch to another channel and then press back to go back to the planner, you have to change the view AGAIN!!!

    Is this even being thought about. I was going to switch to Edge but I would lose my Planner Default View extension i have in Chrome. So not only is this slowing down the planner implementation but its also making edge not as appealing.

    Come on...4 years. This is the easiest thing in the world to implement. I can hardly use this app without this option.
