Option To Close / Complete Plan
Perhaps I am missing it but I can't find a way to close a plan when its complete. The hub view always shows all plans and is quite cluttered already.

This is a very much needed option. I have way too many projects and need to close them when they are no longer active. I do not want to destroy the plan because I may need to refer to it again in the future. I would really love to use Planner but this is really limiting my use of it. For now, I will continue to use Trello.

My Planner hub already very much cluttered... so many plans which I have completed and no longer working but that I would like to access in future for referecne...
Once the Plan is completed it I should be able to mark the plan as Completed and Archive it.
Mr. Please provide this feature and a way to access such plans -

Would it be possible to created another area say a tab with completed plans.
We would like them off screen but accessible for later review for accounting / benefit realisation/ reference. -

Don't you just click on the tick and it gets moved to completed for that bucket? That's how we do it?

This issue is HUGE. MS Planner is not usable without this functionality.

Microsoft - This is so badly needed, please at least acknowledge this request.

Yes, 100% agree! The list getting too long and become un-useable or very difficult to use. a "Completed Plans" or "Archive" function will make this app a lot more useful.

Please action this, then complete it and close it off.
If this is really meant to be used like a project planner, it's just a given that projects should be completed and archived. They should absolutely be able to access later if the need to replicate or refer to the project is necessary (e.g. if it's a success/failure, Why?).
This would make this a much more powerful tool

Yup! Me too. My list of plans is so long, and most of them are no longer current. Please could you work out a way to 'archive' these plans, or something.
Thank you :-) -

agree with everyone here- once a plan is complete we need to be able to mark it as such (so it doesn't show up in the active view anymore, but it is still available for later review.

A purpose for using planner is to achieve a level of organization which is lost when completed projects are still in an active view. The project management tech space is too competitive to not have this feature. I agree with all previous comments. This simple lack can cause users to try other platforms that are more efficient.

Has anyone heard a peep from Microsoft on this issue? I created 31 plans the first day and totally cleaned my physical and virtual desks. Now they are getting completed and I am creating new plans and It is very difficult to navigate the Planner Hub.

An 'archive plan' system needs to be implemented. Especially if there's going to be more than 1 plan/group in the future

Has to be a way to mark a plan complete and move to archive for review as needed

100% agree that being able to complete a project and set up an archival scheme would be a great feature. Even better, when all tasks are complete, prompt the owners if they would like to complete the project. Archival should be customizable; ie, after project is complete for X months, archive it.

Archiving a plan is crucial, as it will ensure information discovery is not bogged down by years of completed projects.

I agree. Second this ...wait 42nd!

Totally with you on this. It is a universe of irrelevance quickly when you have plans listed that were used and are no longer needed.

At least a way to archive a plan when complete and/or remove from plan views.
