Need keyboard shortcuts to more quickly navigate planner. For example I would like to be able to hover on a card and press 1, 2, 3, 4, etc to quickly apply a label to a card. Would also be nice to have a 2-3 key press to filter cards by label, to search, etc.

A keyboard shortcut to access the filter would be very helpful to have to locate specific cards quickly, especially when there is a large number or you are not sure which bucket the card is in.

Having hotkeys/shortcuts similar to Trello would be amazing. The one I miss the most was hovering over a card and pressing [space] to assign or unassign myself to a card (task): https://trello.com/shortcuts
I've looked through the planner shortcuts and they are really lacking: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/keyboard-shortcuts-in-microsoft-planner-3a982db6-f8c2-41cb-9eb6-a7ee8a055e4d
Todoist has great shortcuts that allow for assignment, due date, plan/bucket placement all from the subject of the task. If this can be imitated, it would make ticket creation and organization a lot more seamless than the current function. This helps me when I am in "stream of consciousness" mode and just need to enter the tasks as they are coming to me.
https://trello.com/shortcuts should be mirrored in functionality

Good point! Would like keyboard shortcurt to mark a card as not started, in prgress and done as well.
@Daron I fully agree. I want to move from Trello to Planner, as my company moved to office 365, but missing features like these are holding me back.
short-cut to close task such as control s or control w

please add shortcut for labels
I agree with Daron. While it seems like a little thing, not having shortcuts to quickly assign people to a task, archive a task, or set a label can become very frustrating.
The keyboard shortcuts Trello supports are a great example:
- arrow keys to move between cards
- 'm' to assign membership
- 'space' to assign self
- 'c' to archive
- 'f' to open the filter pane and begin typing
- 'x' to clear any filters
- when creating a new card, type @name to assign, #label to set a label, ^1 to set position

I'd also like to have one to quickly assign a task to me.
