Ability to add email as Planner Task
Many time - new action items come in from clients and consultants as emails. It would be great if from the web app I could convert an email to a planner task - carry the body of the email as a note - and automatiacally add any attachments as documents attached to the task.
Look at Todoist for inspiration.

It will be very nice if you can add this possibility.
Thank you in advance.
Planner would be perfect for me if I could get emails to the boards email address appear as a task in one of the buckets.

The other ability would be to import tasks from MS Project to MS Planner, have all tasks in one place vs silo's

Most users emails are their tasks, MS claims they are a productivity company, this is a real disconnect MS not putting convert emails to MS Planner tasks as part of 1st iteration of this service, this is not only important for desktop but mobile as well
AtTask has this capability. One of the internal challenges is the employees have to reenter the task which is hindering them from using Planner to begin with. By integrating the ability to add an email as a task it will save time and for the many jobs that one has to manage.
look to Outlook 2016 for ability to drag email into Outlook tasks, mots emails are tasks, this is very important and will relive inbox, if it can be done in mobile, even better.
How many people stress daily about hundred or thousand of emails in inbox

I would also like to suggest the ability to integrate into Outlook Web the way "Tasks In A Box" does it. Each email has a gray link above the body labeled "Tasks In A Box". Clicking on the link automatically creates a task dialog filled in with the Subject and email Body. The user can then select the project to assign the task to, due date, etc.

If Trello had managed to integrate Outlook e-mail, it would have been very hard for Planner to get a look in.
The ability to add e-mails, as tasks to a plan direct from Outlook, and chose a board would put planner in the A league.

In the context of Planer Email should be thought as another transport for app communication. I would say Groups are ahead of Trello on this, i.e. the inbox is already there. We need to establish conventions for parsing, for example the following subject:
Contoso Skype for Business Opty@jessica #due: 30-06-2016 #bucket: Quote Negotiation
would assign a new task "Contoso Skype for Business Opty" to user "essica@<current-org>" at bucket: "Quote Negotiation"
with the (formatted) body od the msg as description as well as attachments. We can also establish conventions for the first list in the body to parsed into a list of subtasks...

Either give me an unique email I can send it to the board like Trello/Todoist OR give me a Outlook add-in that gives me a ribbon button I can click to add it.
This would be very great! In that case you can use Planner as a 'ticket system' for support incidents of your customers.

This is a must! If you would like to use Planner as a ticketing system, as we are, this feature is mandatory! You can also have a flag in the Settings so that you can automatically or manually create tasks based on incoming emails.
