Ability to add email as Planner Task
Many time - new action items come in from clients and consultants as emails. It would be great if from the web app I could convert an email to a planner task - carry the body of the email as a note - and automatiacally add any attachments as documents attached to the task.
Look at Todoist for inspiration.
Hi there, please do this. It would be really helpful. Kind regards.
Voted! This, along with outlook integration, is a cornerstone for my process!
Like the trello outlook add in

Can only copy what has been said here, allowing emails to be added as a MS Planner task would be truly great.
Trello Add-on is available to add an email as a Trello Task, unfortunately, Outlook not providing Add on for Planner.
I really need this, too! I've tried MS Flow and didn't really work(I work in both English/Japanese environment and Japanese texts didn't reflect correctly when I used MS flow)
I just want to echo what everyone has already said here. I also would appreciate it if Planner performed all of the functions of Trello - sending complete emails with all the content and attachments to Planner. Is there a sense of when this will be done? Thank you.
Need this badly
There is an OWA add-in for trello , but not for MS Planner !!!!

flow-e.com does this perfectly. i don´t know why this couldn´t be done by the ms planner team as well?
Yes, Flow allows integration in planner, but the conditions are a little limited.
Ideally, you should be able to make a right click on a mail, and choose the plan (and better still, where in the plan) and have as a task title the subject of the mail.
I hope that this feature will arrive quickly, working often with planner and it would save me from copying and pasting mail.

This integration between Outlook and Planner should be priority #1 task. I shouldn't have to copy and paste an email into Planner, as you can see emails arriving but cannot drag and drop into a bucket.
MS could merge Tasks and Planner. Some of my actions have a monthly cycle, so it would be useful to have a new batch of month end tasks reappear automatically on 28th

As I remember, you can use MS Flow to monitor email and then convert to a Planner task

I really need this. Please add it
Really need it.
Among many tools to collaborate to a project, most of people work everyday NOT at projects. For this and many other reasons the simplicity and effectiveness of email is and WILL remain strategic.
In this scenarios a link between EMAIL<-----> PLANNER is REALLY REALLY needed!!
Please consider our prays.

Would be helpful for help desk tickets.

Yes pls i want this to happen as fast as possible
I would like to see this implemented, because I would like to use Planner as a helpdesk ticket management system.
Emails either become a task for me or can be replied/archived right away. Converting them into a planner task with 1-2 clicks would make me to a power user of Planner.
