Printing Capability - company and individual. Ideally would have the ability to print out the entire planner board so that everyone at the company can see the entire project list and have a transparent way for everyone to track performance. Similarly would be ideal to allow individual users print out their tasks.
Ability to print (or export to PDF) would greatly increase transparency on projects. The alternative would be to allow sharing with read-only access to non-team members.
Five years with no action.
Can a status update be posted on this feature? is it in the list of new features being considered?
How old is this idea and yet still nothing. Being able to print / PDF for external to team / business use is an important function of a planning tool.. Having said that the ability to print to PDF in MS Project is also painful so no real surprise.

Just started using planner, but will most likely stop and switch to something else because i am unable to print. Very disappointing.

Its Sad!! One tends to assume that printing is available, till you find out its not available.
I also, need printing as everyone else. Also, I need it to go out in CSV file, so that I can integrate it to something else or just put in excel and do some reports.

I agree - would be great if you could please prioritise Printing Capability in your dev pipeline.

As a telecom operator, we are currently moving some of our planning tools over Planner, and the lack of priting capability is so bad that we might actually switch to another tool and drop Planner.
This is the only serious drawback in Planner.
If this cannot be done quickly, at least provide us with an Excel Macro to reorganize the export into something that managers and CEOs can use.
It's a bummer that this has been an issue since 2016.
I use Planner in the construction industry. I use tasks with checklists for our field crew to check things off as they are complete. They are upset with me for moving to a system that doesn't allow them to print. I agree with them, this should've been a feature at launch. I know the tech industry doesn't use much paper anymore, but there are people who work outside too =). I may end up having to scrap using planner and go back to OneNote if I can't get them a solution soon. For now I think we'll be wasting tons of expensive printer ink to print images of the lists using snipping tool. Gross...
Thanks in advance for correcting this oversight!

The tools is minimally useful with out the ability to print your boards.

This would be great, as I could print the planner to a PDF to post for my monthly project lists.
It is extremely frustrating that we have to deal w/ a 100 character limit before ellipses, the lack of a print feature is long past due if you want this product to be truly web-accessible.
It would be terrific if we could print the board presentation and it is so much better than an excel sheet.

I need to print my tasks out so I can take them to a meeting. and go through them with my boss
Need to be able to print (PDF) plans to document and report project status. Would be sufficient if implemented as in the ToDo app.
We're currently using word/excel instead of planner to document tasks thant need to be reported on a regular basis, because we're missing this feature.
Needed for customer-facing discussions. Would be great to be able to simply add summary reports to meeting agendas.
Please add function to allow to export to pdf or word or to print
Yes, Please allow printing
