Hierarchy/Link between tasks (also from different Plans)
The ability to link between tasks is important.
For example, Management created a task. This will be converted to sub tasks on a sub team Plan.

I agree... would like to have a master plan .. ie that is the top of org view for the highest items of concern, but not having to copy them from another plan.. thus breaking the updates that the team may put in or complete the task.

The ability to Link tasks within a plan would be a good start.

I thought about a little variation of this idea: a "master" plan (lets say the Management" could have a collection of tasks which could be (or not) associate with other plans. The higher level task will be automatically in progress or completed if all the lower level tasks are in progress or completed.

Yes! Tasks often have dependencies that necessitate they be completed in a certain order. If Planner can't help enforce the order, then the PM is burdened with manually tracking the dependencies. And that reduces the value of Planner as a project management platform.

at least the tasks should have a number. So that I can use #No. to give a link to other tasks.

With an automated notification/conversation message that task B can start now that task A is completed
