Schedule reoccurring tasks.
Add the ability to schedule tasks every day, every Wednesday, every last Friday of the month etc...
Hello! Since this is one of our top asks from users (and has been for quite a while), we wanted to provide a quick update here. As mentioned in our last update, our team has been heads down shipping some recent integrations, such as the Tasks app in teams and Tasks in Docs (both of which have initial versions rolling out now!).
Recurring tasks (and the other top UserVoice asks) are still high on our backlog. I’ll provide updates here as this feature gets closer to being shipped! We also may use this forum to reach out to you, our engaged users, with design questions we have—so stay tuned if you’d like to help us bring you the best version of recurring tasks!
In the meantime, it’s great to see so much active engagement here. We continue to iterate on our initial designs as we get more feedback from users, so keep it coming!

As a workaround, you could indeed use https://email@example.com/creating-recurring-tasks-in-microsoft-planner-using-microsoft-flow-f605814734df or manually copy every month or so a Plan by using the Planner website https://tasks.office.com/

MS team it's very disappointing that this feature not released yet.
Guys SB work around solution that can help.
We need this NOW or users will leave for Asana or something else. Very sad that the second most requested feature has not had a response for a year and a half!!

Last update on a recognized top ask August 2019? Really? If you want to be taken seriously, please at least update your "top asks" once a year.
I'm so puzzled why this is not implemented yet. It is such a basic need.
It is a little crazy that this is still not implemented by MS. Can you please provide an update. Last post was 18 months ago and this request was posted in 2016

Definitely recurring tasks is a necessary function, hope it's implemented soon.

Need to have the ability to create a re-occurring tasks under Microsoft Planner. This would help some of the daily, weekly checklist for some operations check
My team is eager to see this feature launched. We have many processes that occur monthly, quarterly, and yearly for each of our Clients and it would be very helpful to use Planner to manage them!

Trello has had this functionality from its Day 1. When can we get this in Teams, we have it in MS Calendar which should be a very similar and friendly "Setup Recurring" as we do today.
This is becoming increasingly an issue for my Global Team Management across our various departments and remote locations.
Can we get an update, this should be a Q1 release if at all possible.
