Sort Plans in Planner hub
Groups are automatically sorted when browsing Groups. Add drag/drop or alphabetical sort to Planner Hub, or at least default sort them alphabetically.

Sort individual buckets alphabetically. Sort individual buckets by due date. I really like the planner and this functionality would take it to the next level. Thank you!

In Group By Bucket view, would like to be able to sort tasks in each bucket by start or end date. Same for the other Group By options.

I need to sort at least alphabetically but by due date and priority would also be helpful

I would like to sort alphabetically under group by progress as well.

I need to sort by priority, due date, date completed (for completed tasks), or progress in order to find things easily. When you have hundreds of tasks, it's challenging to find anything to even prioritize.
Drag/drop sorting is also critical, because within priority groups, I still have some that are more or less important that I would like to tackle first, and I want those to be at the top of my list. This user-defined drag/drop order should be preserved in some way so that if I sort by some other field, I can easily get back to the manually defined order again later if I want to.

Yes, please. Sorting by Bucket alphabetical, Task by Due Date or Completion Date.
It would be great to have display options such as Grid (where you can see each Bucket in a66 or 8x8 view). Clicking on the Bucket would open the Bucket and show all the Tasks.
Thanks!

The need to sort tasks within buckets by due date, completion date, alphabetical, by member assigned, member completed, etc really needs to happen.

Really need to be able to sort tasks by date. A project is typically based on timelines and due dates. Not being able to see the project plan in that way is.....messy.

+1 I manage events. Each event is a Plan. The only thing I can do is add them to my Favorites as I create them. If I create them out of order, would be great to drag/drop into whatever sort order I need.

Sorting by date, task, priority, member (and any other possible option) is an absolute must - as is being able to *quickly* switch between the various sort options!

It seems like so many of your products are falling short of their potential. Please consider streamlining functionality for people using these tools in the real world.
I manage up to 100 research projects. They are made up of 5-10 various collaborators. Many require similar workflows (admin, prep, field work, followups, etc.) but each project has specific deadlines and data requirements. We're currently setting up teams in order to communicate protocols, planners and todo lists, but these things don't integrate seamlessly at this point.
For example, why can't I create a team and then add a planner I have saved as a template? Why do you require me to create a new team based on an existing group which has a planner that I had to create from a copy of my template? confused? so am I.
For example, why can't I view my deadlines I set in planner in my outlook? The group calendars show up in outlook, but the deadlines do not... glitch, maybe? I don't know. What I do know is I don't want to review 100 individual projects to look for deadlines. I want to view every deadline for a given week all at once.
Also, given that I have so many projects to manage, some better tools to sort, customize (i.e. pictures) each project would be great.
Ultimately this goes beyond planner and requires sorting the redundancies in Word, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint, Calendars, Todo's etc
I look forward to the updates!

+1 sort alphabetically.
Its really hard to setup 50 plans and track though progress when I have to scan them in random order. This is a silly as not letting people sort YouTube lists alphabetically... -

Would be great to automatically sort by due date at a minimum, but ideal if other sort options were available. Not having this function is a big oversight from a functionality standpoint

It would be really helpful to be able to see Groups on the left with the ability to collapse and expand plans within each group.

This is a no Brainer. The Hub is pretty useless unless you can categorize the plans in some way. We could easily communicate with our Shop floor which project should be manufactured next based on which plan is at the top of the Planner Hub. Please implement some system for this.
