Hide (Archive) completed Buckets
When completing Buckets it would be nice to be able to hide them so they don't take up space, but you still keep them in the statistics.

Some of our planner boards use buckets to define sprints, e.g. sprint 1 (6 Mar - 19 Mar), and it would be helpful to hide/archive completed buckets.
Perhaps a toggle view similar to the show/hide complete tasks option could work for buckets.

I was searching this functionality and I found that forum. I am very sad that this is not done.

We need to be able to archive or at least HIDE a bucket when the project is completed. It makes the group too hard to manage when you only want to focus on active projects.

Seems like this may be a lost cause, but I would also love to see this. It's a pain to see all of the closed buckets along with the open ones.

This! I want to keep all acitivites for my team on the same board. But without possibility to archive a bucket we would soon have to look to other solutions like Trello. A real shame since Planner is a great tool in every other aspect.

yes, this is a must-have for any agile/scrum usage scenario

I would REALLY like to be able to archive buckets. I don't want to get rid of them forever, as it could be useful to, during future projects, be able to go back and determine what I did with this project. (I have separate planners for big projects, but I have one planner I use continuously for multiple smaller projects.)

Adding my 2cents. It doesn't always fit everyone's work style to have a dedicated Board (Plan) for every little project or initiative. Sometimes it makes sense to have a big "General" Plan and split it up into project Buckets for smaller, less comprehensive and/or repetitive stuff. If we can't archive or hide those buckets, then this board, too, becomes unnecessarily difficult to manage.
These tools should be flexible to accommodate our work habits, not so rigid as to make us spend time looking for ways to make our habits match the tools' capabilities. Please consider implementing this (seemingly) simple feature.

Crazy this hasn't been done yet. Trello beats Planner on the basics, but I would love to move to Planner as I user other Microsoft apps already. My team won't be able to fully commit until it has this feature.

With so many votes and comments on this topic, why is Microsoft quiet on the subject. Please respond to your users, even if just to say you're not considering it.

Was about to start using Planner for work instead of current alternatives and the first thing I tried to determine was how to archive buckets. Can't use this tool without it unfortunately. Please add this feature.

Please add this basic function, currently it's a deal breaker for us trying to move away from Asana.

This and filtering Buckets.

Please yes! We have recurring annual projects that work well as buckets, and deleting them when complete is a terrible way to clear them when we could re-use them annually.

Totally agree - we end up reusing buckets and they have unrelated tasks in them - need an option to hide or archive buckets when all tasks are completed
