Be able to delete and/or edit comments
It does not appear to be possible to delete comments once posted. It would be useful to be able to delete and/or edit these comments.

This feature should have been available when the product was first released. Please implement it.
This is needed very much. And furthermore: many times a comment disappeares. Even after using the `send` button and receiving the message by e-mail. Going back to the post, the timestamp is there without the content.

Not yet? Please...
I get super annoyed by this limitation. I had a memo for my manager which I copied in the wrong card. It is such a turnoff.... Seriously! We just moved from Trello and I almost want to tell the team to move back!!! I am soooo frustrated.
I tried the workaround described in this feed (to remove it via the conversations) but when I click on the 3 dots I get an error page.. It is really a ****** product. I can't believe this!

This feature is a must. This is supposed to be a professional business solution not some free social media app.
I have been using Trello for a few months and, unfortunately, we are having to move to Teams and the lack of basic features in Planner is astounding.
* Delete/edit comments is a must
* Drag and drop files is a must
* More labels is a must
* Better colour scheme is a must
Come on Microsoft, we're paying for something that is barely fit for purpose.
This. Is. Such. A. Basic. Feature!
No idea why this isn't something that can already be done. I have a planner task that someone has merged with another and they've just copied all the comments over with time and date stamps and it's a mess. But of course, I can't edit it, or tidy it up in any way. So that's that ruined for anyone outside looking in...

Totally agree with Oleg! We are looking into JIRA because of this issue, and the issue of not being able to drag and drop documents into the task.

It is impossible to efficiently use this software without comments editing/deleting feature. It can't compete with JIRA.

I think that the lack of a response from Microsoft says it all. As someone who was in computing before Bill Gates started Microsoft, I can tell you that the company has a consistent history of not listening to users unless it hurts their bottom line. They are not going to make this update because it's not important to them. Once companies start dropping Planner then they'll become a bit more responsive.
Just started using Planner and was really disappointed it didn't have this capability
sound of silence?
This has been an issue since 2016 and there is still no fix. Microsoft have shown a total disregard for the voice of their users, as well as an incredible level of technical incompetence.
"You cant delete them in planner. But if you click on the three dots next to schedule and then click "Conversation". It will open up in a group mail box outlook, here you can find your comment. Click the three dots and delete your reply. As a workaround for now."
It should be a standard feature. All other similar products have it. This is a must have please.
How can Microsoft release so many applications with limited functionality!? First, you tell me I can't delete private chats from Teams now I can't edit/delete a comment in Planner!? C'mon Microsoft!

Same here, needed to amend a date on my comment, had to post a separate comment as "correction". Starting to get messy which defeats one of the purposes of these types of applications: organization.
