Allow external users to view/edit tasks.
We have sub consultants that we collaborate with on a daily basis. It would be nice to have different levels of permissions to view tasks, edit tasks, and / or create tasks.
Thanks again for your feedback and support! We’re happy to announce we’ve fully released guest access to Planner users.
The Planner Team
Could we get an Update on this?
it will more helpful if you resolve this issue soon

When will this be solved?
Is there any update for support guest access to view/edit tasks in Planner?
Will this allow access to only the task that they are assigned to? Would be great to be able to do that without people having access to the whole board

Any updates? This was supposed to launch in april yes? This feature would be much appreciated!
Access for guests to tasks in Teams does still not work. Guests can be assigned to tasks, but they have no access. When will this be granted? Thought, the rollout would be finished in April?
Allow guest users to comment on a task.
If guest user adds task to my plan and I ask additional questions in comments - the guest user will need to reply somehow. I can't understand why guest comments are blocked.
Guest access is now enabled but Guest will have limited access to group resources. I tested it with my personal email as the Guest account and couldn't view any of the tasks assigned to it. Am I doing something wrong or that's just how it works?

No. It does not work for me.

Has anyone actually seen this working? They said in the Office 365 Message Center on March 27 "Updated feature: Microsoft Planner now supports guest user access. We will begin rolling this feature out over the next few days, and we anticipate rollout completion by the end of April." I have checked on this multiple time and still get unauthorized user. Does it work for anyone yet? We are approaching the end of April so I am hoping at least someone has good news that it is working for them.

Another vote for this, I would love to be able to include clients on tasks in Planner.
Also need federation with Office 365 government tenants. I feel weird asking our biggest client to sign in as a guest with a Microsoft consumer account.

Guys do this asap please it will resolve a lot of issues for all companies (i guest) thanks :)
WOOOOOOWWWWWWWW... the news reports it before the development team here reports it to its own paying customers. Just how mis-managed is this place?
Jim Reilly commented
Hurry! And please ensure that guests have restricted access (ie can't delete cards or lists/buckets).

Any news ? I was pushing for full adoption of teams and planner for all projects in the company ... but now I am in a bind ... most of our projects are with outside ressources ...

This is urgent!

+1 eagerly awaiting
I work for an IT Consulting company and it would be very useful to invite our clients to MS Teams so they can see what we're up to. We use Planner in Teams to keep everything in one place but it doesn't work with guest access.
