Mentions are critical to involve managers only as needed.

Planner would be so much more useful if this capability was added. I don't understand why it is taking so long given it was marked as Planned nearly 3 years ago!

May I have an update on this feature? Will this be rolled out this month?
The users have been waiting for the last 3 years.

I would also like to know if ai can mention the team channels similar to the users? It would be very useful feature.

Having to add people as 'assignees' intead of @mentions is a total fail.

I did a quick Google search to see what I was doing wrong [never entertained the idea the feature would not be there!!] results show this has been requested since at least 2017. Come on Microsoft!! Please get consistency across your applications, especially now organisations use Teams more than ever.
