Ability to filter cards by people, labels and tags
Ability to filter the cards on a board by people, labels and tags to be able to view e.g. only the cards with a specific label or with a specific hashtag in the title

We’ve just released a Filter menu in Planner where you can filter tasks by due date, label, or assignee. You can also enter a keyword to search for a task by it’s title!
We value your suggestions and comments highly – thank you for contributing to this feature.

Like Trello..Planner needs to have a powerful filter to allow filter by person, keyword, or label. Also allow for unlimited labels.

This feature is an absolute no-brainer. Labels are basically useless if you cant filter by them.

A Planner without filter options, that is crazy. CTO loved to use it, but after finding out this feature is not available he immediately went a step back, strengthen his opinion that MS is not getting it to build competitive software. So still Trello, Jira and Slack beat MS Teams, Planner by far...
So you can only group by assignee in charts view for the ONE selected planner. If you manage different teams/projects you have no idea to the workload of your employees.... -

Not only would I like to see this as a filter but also as options within charts.

Absolutely needed function to establish a well-functioning Kanban board for a team. Trello has succeeded well with these functions. Totally agree with @J et al - what's the reason to have labels on tasks if you can't filter on them?

We use this as personal Kanban for our team and would be useful to filter by label as that is how we assign who owns the task since we use Assigned to as all the members who are part of that task team.

Yes. What's the point of putting colored flags on tasks if you can't sort them.

Labels can so useful - but not being able to filter by them makes them almost redundant

Agree with Paul for sure. The whole idea of adding some sort of Metadata is to be able to filter and search on it. This missing function is the only reason my team is not using this product. I would also add the ability to create additional labels other than the default 6.

This is necessary to make Planner a useful tool. Currently it can get very congested and it is hard to use it as an effective Kanban tool without the ability to filter by assignee (properly - just highlighting is not enough) on the progress view.

MS -- Just look at the filtering capabilities in Trello. They have it right.
1. Ability to filter on more than one criteria -- Member + Status. This would allow a member to see their assigned cards and how it sizes up in progress.
2. Filter on label -- no brainer. -

This is something I really need in order to see / plan my teams work - so please add this filtering possibility

This would be a great addition! Since there isn't a way to put due dates on checklist items within tasks, I use labels to indicate a task that has checklist items of high priority. It would be great to be able to see everything I have labeled as having a checklist item "due today" without having to scroll across all my projects looking for flags.

it would be very nice!

Should definitely be added - we use tags for priority and Grouping by Person/Bucket/Progress isn't enough - adding Grouping by Tag should be fairly straightforward.
