Provide a way to copy an existing plan
We often have projects that follow the same structure. It would be useful to be able to copy existing plans (including their tasks) so that we could re-use the same list of tasks for a different project.
I know the ability to copy a plan (in Planner App) is coming, but we need to be able to copy a plan and associated it with the existing Teamspace membership group. I found if I copied the plan in planner I couldn't add it to the teamspace. :(
Maybe the teamspace needs to be able to select from a "plan template" and apply its onw membership group?
This is a definite need. Copying each task eliminates a ton of the benefits of this project/process management tool.

I agree. I am in that situation right now. It would be a major time saver if planner had this capability.
Our workflows use the same or similar processes every time. The ability to copy an existing plan or use it as a template is almost an imperative. We'll be severely hampered in using Planner if this is not implemented.

We have a monthly set of tasks that need to be repeated every month and this feature would allow us to move from Excel to Planner.
Why create from scratch each time? This should not be that difficult to implement and would increase productivity immensely.

Until this is available, we can't implement.
I just kind of assumed this would be available - definitely changes the internal roadmap for adopting. Now I'll have to go out and re-create every single client launch from scratch. Guess I'll just stick with Asana for now....
This is needed, I use currently use trello and I can do this. I would love to see Planner have the same feature.
This is a must! We do most of our items weekly. I have to recreate everything :/
