This is absolutely essential. Right now it is a huge time waster. I created "to dos" in OneNote during my meetings - I then need to carve out time in my day to copy these over to Planner - word-for-word.

Agreed! We NEED this, do it for the masses!

For a start, it would be sufficient to support adding OneNote pages/sections as links on Planner tasks: as of today, if you try it, the URLs generated by OneNote are rejected as not valid.

You are building great tools, but apparently you dont use them on your daily work.
Meeting notes taken in onenote, can have tasks, those tasks should be easily integrated in outlook tasks and created in planner. -

This would be sooo helpful!!! We take meeting minutes via One Note. It would save me so much time if I could do this.

Absolutely agree with the sentiments below.
Task handling in OneNote is untrackable and integrating into Outlook is bit of a nightmare solution.
Planner is lovely and lightweight and would exactly fill this void. -

Yes, that is one of the issues with the plethora of MS products all competing for the same functionality. As a user you don't know which one to use, or which one was used (where your IM is, where your discussion is, where your tasks are), and all of them are presumably compromised in capability/integration vs. what could be accomplished if they had focus and vision.

Just googling how to do this and surprised its still not possible after nearly three years. Would keenly like a way to turn Todo tags into Planner tasks within the associated group/page/project

having just made a list of notes on planning out an approach in ONote; yeah applying a "Planner Task" against the line items would be great (outlook is pretty pointless)
