Assign tasks to multiple users
I need to be able to assign tasks/projects to multiple users.

Also - add the ability to only mark the task as completed once all people have marked theirs as complete. This would be particularly useful for tasks like "read document X" or "complete timesheet". All users need to do it, and say they have done it, for the task to be completed.

This is a tremendously important feature, as it is we now have to assign a task to one of the multiple people working on it, and when they are finished they have to remember to assign the next person. Our team collaborates on the tasks and so we need to be able to assign multiple people to those tasks. A nice to have as well would be the ability to link a "checklist" item to one of the people assigned to a task.

Many tasks can be assigned to multiple people. The other members might need to collaborate to complete it or there needs to be people consulted or informed on the task. Please add the feature to assign the task to multiple team members.

I cam across this post when I was searching for the means to add multiple persons to a task, I think this is mandatory, can't comprehend why Microsoft left this out???

I agree.
A task could be assigned to a sub set group of people to then collaborate on to achieve the required items in a task. (needs a person from 4 groups to work together to achieve a task), right now each thinks they own the task and start reaching out to people not also tasked, thus mass confusion or duplicate efforts. Its all about collaborating. -

Essential, need to assign to multiple people that would convene to complete a task, i.e "Design BI Dashboard"

but when a task is assigned to multiple people it may be that a specific task to an individual is defined in the checklist?
