Gantt chart view
I want to be able to make tasks dependent on other tasks, and see them in a Gantt chart view.

Hi everyone,
We recently announced and rolled out the new Microsoft Project, which was designed specifically to help teams of all sizes collaborate on projects more efficiently and achieve more together. It was designed to be simple and powerful, so that anyone can get started quickly and take control of any project – regardless of its size – right away.
The new Microsoft Project has been redesigned. You can see your tasks on a Gantt chart (“Timeline”) view, a Board view (similar to Planner’s), and a Grid view, both requested from many of our Planner users. I encourage you to look at the links below and the attached GIF for a sneak peak.
With this, we also rolled out a new subscription plan called “Project Plan 1” that allows you to start quickly and manage projects easily via the web browser.

Thanks everyone for your patience, I encourage you to check out the new Project, and even start a trial to see if it’s right for you!
Best,
The Project and Planner team

Now there are a lot of casinos on the Internet and everything seems fair. But often there are big problems with free versions. I know that this is not a problem - with the platform from https://jackmobilecasinos.com/muchbetter-mobile-casinos/ MuchBetter casinos . They have normal registration and technical support service works well.

All lot of low budget or open source todo applications support a gantt view, why Planner not?

Can't be that hard to allow a plan to be viewed as a Gantt chart as all the info is there, the schedule view is completely pointless.
At the very least allow it be exported easily into an Excel Gantt or just import straight into Project for those that feel the need to use it (not us)

Wow we spent a lot of time learning Teams and Planner to consolidate from other programs so everyone is in the 365 environment. How is this even an open item still? This is such a basic need. We are putting all jobs as buckets inside Teams instead of channels and sorting by "assigned to" as a workaround but this is not a viable long-term solution and we are looking elsewhere.

Need list view first. Need a list view of all tasks from all plans -- assigned or unassigned. Tasks can get lost if list view only shows tasks assigned to you.

Project needs a license. Planner does not

Dear Planner Program Manager,
Here’s a user feedback/VOC for you,
Talk to your executives and let them know, people want Gantt view in Planner.
Project for the web is underdeveloped solution and people don’t have patience to hinge multimillion dollars projects progress on a underdeveloped tool.Planner just works perfectly with your O365 services and all we want is a gantt view.
Project for the web is such a underdeveloped project management tool that it doesn’t have most of the features from its big brother MS project that it’s a joke to pay $30 per user per month. Not a value add at all.
Look at Projectplace, Ganttpro, Wrike, etc. they’re doing so good to give full fledged products.
But they don’t have the O365 integration power like planner. You’ve got that. It’s insane how you’re wasting this opportunity to being the gantt features and a few more other features and mint money with a planner pro for $10 !I hope you guys pivot and see the value in making planner pro with gantt view.
I’m sure your project for the web numbers must be disheartening.I think it’s getting too late.
Hope you can take users feedback seriously and get your leadership to understand what people want and grow your business. -

The article is very well written and there is a lot of useful information. I have read similar articles before. buy tik tok followers cheapThis view is relatively new, and worth exploring in depth.

Need GANTT in Planner as well. Project is overkill or should just be included in standard O365 and replace planner. Please bring Gantt to Planner

We need this functionality in SharePoint site - not Teams or O365 Group associated.

when will we get the Gantt on Planner?

Could you please confirm whether the addition of Gantt charts is still in the works for Planner? Project for the Web lacks the Calendar functionality and just does not suit the needs of our users. Could you please confirm whether we should remain hopeful or move along?

totally agree with most of the Gantt requests for PLANNER. Planner is far easier to use and Project is plain overkill just to have a Gantt view that SharePoint has had for decades.

Agree with the other comments. Happy to pay a bit more for Planner Pro, but Project is completely the wrong solution. Project does not integrate as well as Planner, is too hard to use and is not suitable for the way we work.
PLEASE add a Gantt chart view and dependency system to Planner and then take our money.

This is a cop out answer that does nothing for those of us on Macs.

Did anyone try Apps4Pro for this purpose? @Microsoft: happy to try your solution once it's there! (Please do come up with it at some point, I fully agree with the contributions below)

The previous post from 2019 mentioned Gantt feature would be available "later this year". It's 2020 and we still don't see a roll out of this feature on Planner. Did she mean later in 2020? We need gantt view soooo bad. I'm in a trial for Project 1 and really feel I don't need this when I have everything in planner. I just need gantt and only wish I could do it all in one platform. Any updates?

we need Gant view in PLANNER . make it Planner PRO if you want with a fee. but project plan 1 lacks a lot of the planner features that are not compensated the few additions

Gantt view should be added. Even if it is based on start and end date vs dependancies. I get if you need to make tasks dependent on each other, get a Project License. Do the right think MS Product Team. You may also provide an upgrade path for planner or be able to migrate plans. If this already exists, good work!

I think the users have great ideas contributing to making this product amazing but it seems that the MS Planner team has different ideas. It is so clear what the users want but it seems that the decision was made top-down. This change does not help me at all, and I do not see how the brilliant MS Planner team sees it differently.
