Provide the ability to create Plan templates with existing tasks that can then be used to create a new plan
Rather than having to create every plan from scratch it would be good if the system allowed for the creation of Templates with pre-existing tasks (like in Word/Excel). This would allow a new plan and its tasks to be created from a template saving a lot of time.

Any updates when coping a plan which you want to save as a plan template? We also need this urgently.
It'd be great if you could have an option to display different checklists and fields depending on the bucket the task is in, just like Pipefy does

The only thing that required is a templates for Planner - we need this to complete repeat work on grand scale.
we could potentially be building plans for 8-10 buckets - each bucket having 40_50 tasks each - so ability to create a template of pre made plans & distribute to new plans or new groups is VITAL!!! cannot stressed how much this is needed within this platform and for true project functionality within MS TEAMS

Get this done please. A huge gap in your product that is keeping us from using this as part of the Office 365 products.
Agree with the anonymous comment below, we need this. It would allow us to get away from Basecamp and use this exclusively. Please keep us posted. Is there a timeline for the templates?

A necessary feature for business users. Wondering why was it left out for so late in the first place. And I don't see it in Planner roadmap, hope we have this added sooner.

I would also love to see the ability to copy a bucket with all tasks under it.

Make sure to extend this "template" concept to all levels of the hierarchy - for example:
+ A template PLAN that can be duplicated as a new plan
+ A template TASK that can be copied into multiple plans
+ A template CHECKLIST that can be copied into multiple tasks
Along with this concept, there should be an "inactive" status added to the Progress drop-down so you can flesh out tasks inside of a plan without having them show up on the task status.
